like just imagining this from the spouse’s perspective. sure the first year or so after marriage the farmer is busy, lots of work to do on a farm, in the caves, out fishing or building up a vacation spot on the island. but now you see them wake up, chug a triple shot espresso, run out for a couple hours doing who knows what, they’ve barely spoken to you lately, this crazed exhausted look in their eyes, and then they come home before noon only to crash and sleep for a week just to do it all over again. you hear from mayor lewis something about mountains of wine, and when you get a spare moment to say “hey bud (romantic) you good?” the farmers just like. “clocke….”
