Nah women have always gotten the short end of the stick emotionally but the built in struggles that they deal with are diminished to a completely normalized degree and the way men view female struggle is written off as them being weak. Things like harassment, periods, or any struggle is often dismissed as hysteria or as if women are simply weak. It's true men are not supported emotionally but women are expected to deal with the same things and even then women seen as emotionally supported sometimes just seems like another spinoff of the women are more emotional than men spiel, or that support is solely from women who deal with the same issues. Men often complain about the issues they have while perpetuating the same standards they complain about. I completely agree with your point and it's infuriating to argue and deal with.

God so many men are whimpy as fuck. They have one mildly bad thing and think they understand. Then you tell them a tiny bit of your life and its all “Damn and I thought my life was tough!” My life ISNT tough, youre just weak af.

Ive sorry but Ive had this happen so many times and Ive never heard a girl complain like they do. Even male infants are shown to be more emotionally needy than female infants, just saying. Males are also shown to handle physical pain far more poorly. It infuriates me. “Men always get told to toughen up, not like women, women have it easy and are so emotionally supported :(”.
