I see a lot of posts saying "teach boys about consent".

While that is true, a lot of parents will do that and fail to see how their own actions are the problem.

If you've spanked him, he's less likely to understand consent.

If you've forced him to sit on Santa's lap, he's less likely to understand consent.

If you've forced him to give hugs and kisses to family members, he's less likely to understand consent.

If you've grabbed him in order to force him to sit still, he's less likely to understand consent.

If you've labeled him as "too sensitive" for not wanting to be touched, he's less likely to understand consent.

If you've assumed he's okay with something because he technically allowed it even though he felt pressured, he's less likely to understand consent.

If you're only going to criticize his actions but not your own, it won't work.

This is so Andy from the old guard coded. Andy protecting her teammates with her life. Andy thinking she has to be the one to do this (be tortured) because she’s the oldest, the one who’s been through this before the most, the one who has to look out for the others. I just. I’m sorry this is so Andy coded.

Whumpee is being tortured for information she does not have. Only she cannot under any circumstances let Whumper know that, because than he'll go after her teammates who do have the information. And they are too good and do not deserve to go through this torture, nor would they be able to deal with the torture unlike her. So she does everything to convince Whumper that she has the information he is looking for, to protect her teammates.

And wouldn't it be a shame, just to make her life even harder. if Whumper had means to make sure she can't lie (truth serum, spell, etc,)

Post reminded me of female whump and while most of my whumpees are dudes (mainly because I project very heavily onto/imagine myself as the dudes and doing that with women a lot of times gives me dysphoria) I do have a few female whumpees. So, let’s hear it for one of my favoritest specialist gals. Who I believe should have been tied up and weak and in immense pain more in the original show. Like booo we only got the one scene of her restrained to the table and then weak and limping.

My sister and I are about to rewatch how to train your dragon race to dragons edge, and my FAVOURITE episode ever was when Astrid became blind after lightning struck right in front of her 😫 I can’t wait to get there!

Astrid and Heather were my favourite characters. I made an oc based off of them. This will be so fun.
