Independent Study by pianogavin (@pianogavinwrites). After one too many repeat injuries, UA puts a policy in place to alert parents every time their child is hurt at school. This leads to Momo taking care of her own injuries. MomoJirou focused. 6k, hurt/comfort

old game (new rules) by carolinaa (@officialratprince). the ULTIMATE momojirou fic. after bad experiences in middle school, kyouka is determined to keep to herself at UA, but her classmates have a way of getting under her skin.

Despite Your Good Intentions series by xylophones. yagi toshinori moves into midoriya izuku's apartment building when he is eleven. this has a ripple effect that leads to midoriya izuku becoming the youngest licensed intern that japan has seen, and spirals from there. one of my favorite series!!! 204k, hurt/comfort

Thick Blood, Sweet Water by litbynosun (@coldwind-shiningstars). aizawa shouta and midoriya inko are siblings who only reunite after midoriya izuku has started his first year at UA. 15k, family fluff

the drip of melting ice by planet_B612. Hitoshi moves into the 2A dormitory at the beginning of his second year, learns who his neighbour is, and makes the friends he had declared he isn't there to have within the space of a semester. 20k, hurt/comfort

pez dispenser debris by thepolysyndetonaddictsupportgroup (@polysyndetonaddictsupportgroup). a quirk creates a younger version of midoriya izuku, who causes headaches for himself and everyone else. this is straight-up one of my favorite fics, and this summary does NOT do it justice. go read!! 74k+, hurt/comfort

hours spent in a hospital waiting room just to lose a knife fight by SpiritusRex (@spiritusrex). izuku's friends support him when he's hospitalized for appendicitis - a disease he can only get after being born Quirkless. 3k, hurt/comfort

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: AO3 Fic Recommendations! (Part 2)

NOTES: None of these fics include Tcest, shipping in general, crossovers, and fan characters. But buckle up gamers, because these fics will be a bit... heavier than the last. House of Wolves (ongoing) — By: Venus_Sunset Raph and Leo have many differences, but none so great as their ideals of heroism and leadership. After showing his potential by outsmarting Big Mama and trapping Shredder in the prison dimension, Splinter decides to make Leo the leader of their team a bit earlier than intended.

This has consequences.

Now with the two oldest at each other's throats, Mikey is left trying to cope with a dysfunctional family, and Donnie does his best to keep their youngest from falling apart completely.

But what starts as a simple family feud devolves into something insidious. A chance meeting with a new villain suddenly thrusts Mikey and Donnie into an underground world of violence, one where they may not survive if their brothers can’t reconcile their differences and come together as the team they were always meant to be. ----

TLDR; Splinter decides to make Leo the leader of the team after the first defeat of Shredder. This has consequences. Set in the aftermath of Many Unhappy Returns. I'm gonna be honest, I was a bit scared this fic was going to end up t•rture p•rn at first. It appears I am Boo, Boo the Fool, because holy shit was it far from what I was holding my breath for. And speaking as someone who is not only the baby of six siblings, but came from a severely dysfunctional household, this fic was really yet another reminder about how much I relate to Rise Mikey. But that's always a good thing in my book, because that just means the author nailed everything they've written.

little kid with a big death wish (completed) — By: remrose

Leo's mind rebelled against the sensation. The heaviness burst into awareness, body, limbs, lungs, blinking. The middle distance he'd apparently been staring in focused. Leo was awake. Leo was aware. Leo was alive.

Being alive wasn't something he thought he'd be. or: recovery fic featuring dissociation problems, missing limbs, and Leo discovering a familiar presence in his mind. Twice the trauma in one body, what could go wrong? I have no words for this fic. The best I can say is that I commented on it, telling the author how they perfectly captured grief and thoughts of taking your own... Well, I wouldn't want to accidentally trigger someone by saying the specific word, but I let the author know. Because I've dealt with both myself. Having lost her father figure (my grandfather) years ago and certain thoughts for longer (I'm recovered, don't worry). Proceed towards this fic with caution. But if you aren't sensitive to the tags and decide to read it, I highly doubt you'll come to regret it, as it's so beautifully tragic and comforting. No worries about my wording, though, it does have a happy ending. Just as all of the fics I recommend do―I rarely, if ever, read ones with none. In other words, "hurt/no comfort." are you lonely yet? (ongoing) - By: Dragon_Scales_and_Fairy_Tales Something's going on with Mikey. Donnie worries. Heavily focused PB&J moments, medic-mode Leo, and Mikey angst. Now, I'm gonna end this off with a lighter fic. This one's gonna stick out like a sore thumb out of this list, haha! the new york conspiracy corner (completed) - By: blueh “You cause a small explosion with dubiously legal lasers one time,” Donnie says under his breath. Then, louder; “Dearest brothers, this situation is worse. Much, much worse. In a circumstance that not even my superior algorithm could detect—we are trending on Twitter.”

“WHAT?!” Raph and Leo shout, in unison.

Donnie’s not great at the whole tone thing most times, but even he can see that there are two widely different emotions going on at this exact moment, especially the wild look in Raph’s eyes and the stupid, smug smirk on Leo’s face. The kind that usually gets more than one of them into trouble at the most inopportune times.

Mikey shakes the back of Leo’s shell. “We’re gonna be internet famous, baby!”

Or: the lives of superpowered teenage mutant ninja turtles, as seen through the eyes of New York (and, subsequently, the world). (In a horrified victorian mad scientist voice) Oh... oh no. They're trending. On Twitter. Look through part one of my recommendations here!

Tucker is sitting on Sam’s lap playing on a Switch, Ellie is sitting on a desk behind them. Dash is asleep at the back of the room.

Ellie, now holding the cat: “Is this Vlad’s first cat!?” Wes: "Could you tone down the floating eyes before the next part? They’re kinda distracting.” Danny: “What eyes?” Wes: “Please stop gaslighting me.”

I liked the One Piece Live Action so much, I started to reread the manga. Last time I did a proper reread of One Piece was around 2008 and it took me forever then, so I'm already sweating, thinking about how long it will take me now...
