It’s been fun but I think it’s time......

To be honest, this has been in the back of my mind for quite some time (and the reaction to recent world events have pushed this decision even more).

Eight years ago I started this blog to write out my thoughts and opinions on shows or games that I’ve been enjoying. It was something I did just for fun. However, I have now reached a point where I am outgrowing tumblr.

I’m amazed that I’ve lasted this long but I’ve reached my limit. Being here is no longer fun or worth the risk of attracting toxic people with a toxic mentality because I dare to have a different opinion (I’m lucky enough to not have this happen to me but why keep it going?). To be honest I find it frightening. It also doesn’t help that my opinions have changed over the years, leading me to cringe at some of my old posts. 

I could go on about my other grievances but I’d rather not. Like I said, I’m done. I’m getting ready to move on.

I’ll keep my blog up for now but sooner or later I’m likely going deactivate it. 

Until I make that decision, I would like to say thank you to all my followers who have been here for the last 8 years. You’ve been great but it’s time for me to go and try out new things.

I like the idea of island “changing forms” based on the person’s emotions/psyche. In other words, the more turmoil you have, the more you sink into the darkness and become something bad.

After what happened in Vol 8, Ruby is going to have a LOT of turmoil.

Video message from a Japanese writer involved with Ice Queendom shown. Starting next episode (Ep 4) it will be original story rather than the loose adaptation. Clip from episode 2 shown in both Japanese and English to show how LKAB are adapting the adaptation of their own original lines. (Barb made a joke about “we heard you liked dubs so we put a dub in your dub so you can dub while you dub”)

New merch shown. Streetwear for Yang and Blake, car accessories, Banpresto Qposket figures, YouTooz figures coming soon, new partnership with Makeship, showed off shadow boxes and acrylics. LKAB tossed merch hidden under their seats into crowd. While unboxing Qposket figures Blake’s arms fell off. Yang arm jokes were made.

Kara can wiggle her ears, Lindsay can fold her tongue in unique ways, Arryn wants to sing in the show if possible (duet with Casey when?), Barb throws a mean football. They think these talents could apply to their characters.

I hate the idea that because you didn't like something, it means that all the people who do like it and talk about it with joy have low standards or are dumb. Like you say, different people want different things and acting superior because you didn't find something of your liking make you look like an asshole.

God, yes! Art is subjective, people! Stop acting like you're better than someone just because of the art you choose!
