there's this moment in the otohan fight where Sam just. closes his eyes. for a good ten seconds. and then he opens them, and picks up his pen, and starts writing things/checking things. and like I went into the episode with spoilers so I got to be like oh, I just watched this man decide to kill his character.

(it's several minutes AFTER that, fun fact, that Laura starts jokingly being like "can't you like choose to detonate?" and it's also after that that matt references the idea of a tpk. he's way ahead of them)

"Who are you outside of the media you consume" I am not "consuming media" i am watching or playing or reading I am expiriencing stories. Who would I be without making stories or listening to music or playing with dolls or eating food? Maybe I'm not doing these things to drown my brain with them so I wouldnt have to deal with me but because I like them. Because I like stories. Because even if I lived in a time without the internet I'd still be reading books and gossping with friends and humming to songs I like.
