the tiktok reposting drama on twitter is so wild because it could have just ended there with dteam telling update accs to stop reposting their tiktok but suddenly it got so blown up that gnf ended making a sobering statement. it's so weird, like i just dont get how something that isn't that difficult to grasp can get over dramatized.

i remember how when gnf first told us that he doesn't like horror games and everyone assumed it's because he's too scared like dream. then he played phasmophobia and we realized we were so, so wrong. he just angrily and aggressively bulldozed his way through the game because he get so frustrated by the mechanics and it's so damn entertaining to watch that you forget it's suppose to scary.

this is why i always hated the "gnf is lazy" narrative because it's equate his inability to start/finish tasks as a failure of his personality and zero effort to give. idk i just think it's better not to assume things because we just never really know what is making other people unproductive because it could be numerous things instead of just ya know "he's lazy."

honestly, i wouldn't be so annoyed with this if you had just say "i wish gnf would do something again because ppl are losing interest when there's nothing for us consume" and stop there. instead some of you guys start speculating about his mental health which is WEIRD and throwing the word "lazy" around when you know that word been has a bad association with 404fandom because we been FIGHTING the gnf is lazy bullshit for ages.

also can we stop generalizing twitter. like i know the fanbase tend to lean young but my main fandom and platform is also on there. let me tell you a lot of the old fandom ppl (LJ-era even) are also twitter and the way some of you talk about twitter it's so... patronizing.

you can want content as much as you want but it won't be given to you faster even if you throw a tantrum about how long the content drought is. no matter how bad he is at editing his videos and being productive its not like you can change that now can you? no matter how much your hyperfixation makes you stay you can still do something else or just do your best to leave if you feel like being taking advantage of hes not the only content creator in the world

^^^ agreed! i think a lot of it is because ppl are to use to seeing gnf, dteam, and their various friends group streaming or hopping on calls with each other but now it's been slow lately. it's disappointing and leave us much wanting but i got manga to read, asian dramas to watch, games to play, and that culture essay i should have started like two weeks ago. my world doesn't revolve around gnf and his friends. i adore him and he makes me happy but i can step away from him anytime to do my own things just as i know his time isn't dedicated to producing content to entertain me. he's unproductive, he's lazy, he's whatever. we don't know and there's no point speculating on it because it's not going to change anything. if anyone ever got stuck on a slump or had experienced bad procrastinating knows it's on you to fix whatever shit that got you stuck in the first place so yea.

and if i lose interest just because he's not making content anymore or his content isn't enjoyable to me, it's whatever. it happens all the time and i just move on instead of making a big deal out of it because we don't owe each other anything. and he was streaming JUST LAST WEEK but some y'all making it seem like we haven't heard a single peep from him in six years jfc. let the man breathe.

ngl i love how no matter what drama is going on or even ones where gnf starred in, i never have to worry about him digging a deeper hole for himself and giving his fans anxiety about it. i can only recall two times where he had seriously addressed something and for a good reason but other than that whatever shit he's got caught in, he just wash himself off and move on. like he could be venting to his friends about it behind close doors and we'll never know but on the surface he's just vibing and idk that can be comforting because if he's not stressed about it then im not stress.
