Funny enough, it's also one of the extremely rare cases where I, at no point, shipped my two favourites?
Like, that's a reoccurring pattern that applies to almost all my comfort ships/pieces of media I like somehow. Servamp. DQXI. Danganronpa. JSHK. BSD technically (it doesn't really count because I started shipping them before they became my favourite characters individually, but the pattern still applies). You know what, even the first part of Octopath.
But here? My two favourites are being shipped, I see it on my dash fairly regularly, and I totally see how it makes sense, but... no. Nothing.
I'm not really going anywhere with this, I just thought it's an amusing observation and wanted to talk about it
Octopath Traveler II may be the first piece of media I'm into in years where the thief isn't my favourite character by default and you'll never guess which one my mind picked instead.

Knowing the background, there's something really funny about how Arcanette reacted to Temenos's mistake from his chapter 1. This isn't even her faith and somehow she has to tell the inquisitor to do his job correctly. I hope Temenos made her suffer through every bit of her act just by being himself.

the downside to harassing a cat constantly is that you run out of ways to bother them. so sure she's "well socialized" but how am i supposed to get revenge when she is being SO so annoying?

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?

This is something I'm seeing more and more on AO3 that I'd never seen when I first got into fandom stuff, so I wanted to find out how you all feel about it.
What are your thoughts about seeing posted fanfiction that isn't commissioned, where the creator says that they have never read/watched the source material? For example, someone putting out a fanfic for a show they've never watched that includes the tag Author Has Never Seen Suchandsuch.

New thought: Since I'm not the only one confused about Karma and hence know I'm not losing my mind, what if "consciousness transfer" isn't Fyodor's ability either. Not completely, at least.
What if he has two. Crime and Punishment. It'd certainly fit his famous line from Dead Apple.
How'd that work? Did he acquire it during his life? Is it one ability that manifests in two separate ways? Is my "supernatural being" theory becoming relevant again?
I'm not really serious. But I do feel like we have another Priceless Tears situation at hand here.

I know this happened all the way back in volume 10, but if whatever Fyodor demonstrated on Karma wasn't his true ability either I'll never find happiness again
I don't care about all the things he has done. I draw the line at lying to a child

i feel like tawnypelt and mothwing have more of a foundation for a cool dynamic than hawkfrost and brambleclaw did - when you consider that tawnypelt left thunderclan as an apprentice to join shadowclan w her father, that mothwing is in a position where her core beliefs could cause her to lose her job if anyone else knew about it, the fact that both of them aren’t intimated by being tigerstars daughters and yet other cats constantly perceive them as being shadows of him when they barely even Think about him…..but whateverrrrrr
