Little Bakukami things that make my heart explode

Kirishima isn't good at hiding his crush (that he doesn't know he has)

Kirishima is friendly, everyone knows that. He's a happy, smiley, confident, bug dude. It took some time and effort to get to where he was today but he wouldn't trade it for the world.

He loved hanging out with his friends! Especially Midoriya! I mean, who can blame him? Midoriya was strong, caring, and one of the manliest people ever! How could Kiri not absolutely adore him?

He always has a fun time hanging out with him! Like that time they went to the arcade with heavy disguises so no one would recognize them! Or when they were both having a bad day so they made a pillow fort and watched movies!

Kirishima remembered that one well. Midoriya fell asleep on him and Kirishima couldn't stop smiling.

Midoriya was so cool and manly that Kirishima just had to tell everyone.

Bakugou would always roll his eyes and grumble something about "that damned nerd"

Mina, Sero, and Kaminari would always start snikkering.

It was a little odd but they were always ok with listening to the cool stuff Midoriya did so Kiri didn't say anything about it.

The only thing that confused Kirishima was the fact that everyone else said that Midoriya wasn't very blushy. But that couldn't be true! Midoriya was always blushing! Kinda like Uraraka!

i've mentioned before how much I love bakukami/kamibaku and i'm going to continue

I think Kaminari tends to overstep boundaries just because he doesn't understand that they're there if you don't clearly state it.

Bakugou has so many boundaries and is so reserved that in the beginning of their relationship Kaminari didn't know anything about him.

So when they first started dating, it was kind of a mess.

They loved each other, they truly did, but Bakugou always felt like he had no privacy and Kaminari felt like Bakugou hated him.

Bakugou ended up saying that he needed a break from the relationship and Kaminari tearfully agreed but that night they ended up cuddling in bed together.

At this point things were getting pretty toxic and Kaminari was ready to give it up and end it.

He suggested the idea to Bakugou and they had a talk about all their problems.

They put set boundaries and talked about their insecurities and what they wanted in their relationship.

Kaminari said that if things didn't change for the better in a month that they would have too break things off for good.

And guess what? It did get better.

Kaminari understands how to let Bakugou live without breathing down in neck every second and he is always assured that Bakugou loves him. And Bakugou knows that he has his privacy now and also feels safe enough to talk about himself and his worries with Kaminari.

Kaminari figured out that Bakugou is just a big softie and is a whipped simp for him at all times and he's pretty smug about that.

Now, don't get me wrong here, queerplatonic relationships fucking slap. But this is not what they have.

What they have is two boys sitting next to each other on a bed while watching a show, trying their hardest to seem as straight as possible while trying to bury their romantic feelings as far down as they can.

So, that's where they started.

Kaminari developed feelings first. He'd been trying to hide the whole liking boys thing since he found out he liked boys.

This type of thing had happened to him before so he decided that he would repress it and move on.

That (spoiler alert) did not work.

His feelings grew and grew and before he knew it, he was in way too deep to be able to repress it. You can't repress the fact that you're drowning and at this point, repressing the feelings he had was doing just that.

Kirishima deduced that he liked Kaminari after Mina pointed out the fact that staring at someone longingly isn't something that people normally do.

He was originally open to the idea of asking Kaminari out but his anxiety got the best of him and he didn't act on those feelings.

So, now we're here. With Kaminari and Kirishima sitting next to each other on Kirishima's bed while watching Tv. and I wonder where this is going.

Kaminari decided that it would be best to just focus on the show -and the two boys just kissed. How inconvenient

Kirishima thought that this was just excellent, he could now pose some sort of question.

So he went. "What do you think about gay people?"

ok, that was a bold choice

Kaminari felt the blood rush to his face. "What do you mean?"

Izuku Midoriya deserves better than being forced to work with his lifelong abuser.

Bakugou only knows about One For All because Izuku was conditioned his whole life to feel like he owes him something.

Bakugou has never apologized or shown remorse for the torment he put Izuku through, but all is forgiven when the piece of shit who makes everything about himself cries a little after beating his victim up again?

If Bakugou is going to grow, the abuse of Izuku Midoriya at his hands needs to be addressed away from Izuku.

Izuku should not be forced, or allowed by his nature, to shoulder the burden of Bakugou's "improvement."

"Aizawa doesn't know." Aizawa should recognize signs of abuse, signs of an unhealthy relationship, the difference between a rivalry and a one-sided abusive relationship. He's a fucking hero and he doesn't?

He puts Bakugou's development on Izuku despite witnessing the excessive force on tape from the first combat practice--despite footage of the student v teacher fights capturing evidence of the violent lengths Bakugou goes to put Izuku in the dirt simply for speaking-- because he is small and pathetic inside and hates how big Izuku's heart is, and that's Izuku's responsibility?

To weather abuse and his abuser's "growth" because a hero who saves can't recognize a child who needs to be saved?

Aizawa is a hypocrite and a negligent teacher. His "quirk apprehension" exam one the first day is no different than the entrance exam, but for his presence and the presence of his biases. Instead of pulling Izuku aside to talk about how damaging his quirk could be in tests, he stops him from throwing a ball just to publically shame him and proceeds to invite Izuku to maim himself just so he can have an excuse to expell a child he thinks will be too much effort to teach. This colors his perception of Izuku as a reckless asshole with no self preservation so when he sees abuse directed at Izuku he thinks it's well deserved retribution from another asshole student and not the continued abuse that it is.

Bakugou should be at another school, getting anger management and a hand on pulling his oversized head out of his ass so he can fucking acknowledge the 15 years of emotional and physical abuse he put a boy through before any "improvement" can really begin. Otherwise, there is nothing to grow from or against.

The Wonder Duo is garbage. At this point, Horikoshi is too shitless to care about Izuku's well-being when fanabuseapologist favorite Bakugou needs to have the whole show be about him and his awesome power because he's a four year old who has never not gotten his way. Even from the author, who said he had another, proper rival planned for Izuku until abuse apologists got loud and demanded more of their uwu explodobaby donowrong.

At best, Bakugou will redeem himself by dying at this point. Because thats the only way either of them will be allowed to actually grow out of the other's percieved image and gravity.

denki X bakugou (kamibaku / bakukami) is such a wonderful ship

they would be the most cuddly couple out there. bakugou is very PDA heavy bc he just likes when people know that he and kami love each other

kami obviously doesn't mind bc he's just a very touchy person.

i do feel that, at the beginning of their relationship, kaminari would sometimes get a little upset at the fact that bakugou always seemed to be annoyed when he was around him.

they had to have a big talk where kami displayed his problem with it and how it made him feel that Bakugou didn't want the relationship. Bakugou apologized and explained that he was nervous about being in a relationship bc he was afraid of doing something wrong so he reverted to annoyance to protect himself

they became much closer after that
