Ista had a fit that looked scarily close to a seizure last night. I now need to take her in to the vet for a checkup and testing, along with possible treatment, which will be pricy.

As such, I am opening flash-fic commissions. Donate to my ko-fi with a note on what you want, and I will write a 600-1000 word flash fic (and gift it to you in Ao3 if you so desire). I may write longer for larger donations and prompts that really interest me, but for now, I can only commit to the flash fics. Donate however much you want, and feel free to request multiple fics if you donate over $10.

So the Jet/Zuko fight scene is great for many reasons but can you imagine, sitting in dunkins donuts, sipping your dunkaccino, and this crazed teenager comes in with these enormous. hooks? and accuses the ALSO teenaged cashier of being a russian sleeper agent and there’s a cop who tries to diffuse the situation but instead of letting things de-escalate the cashier leaps over the counter, steals the cop’s gun, and says “i’ll give you a show” i mean-

one of my personal favorite dichotomies in atla is how iroh, once the top strategist and highest-ranking general of the fire nation, now directs all his energy and considerable tactical experience towards attempting to keep his teenage nephew from throwing himself into life-threatening situations AND IROH REGULARLY FAILS TO PREVENT HIM FROM DOING SO.

he lead a six-hundred day siege and now iroh can't keep up with a sixteen-year-old armed with two swords and a passionate deathwish. zuko's motto is "act first, think never" and he's running rings around his uncle. it's like!!! who's gonna come out on top, iroh's west point education vs. zuko's deep and abiding commitment to always choosing the stupidest possible course of action, and zuko manages to win every single time
