hey. don’t cry. crush four cloves of garlic into a pot with a dollop of olive oil and stir until golden then add one can of crushed tomatoes a bit of balsamic vinegar half a tablespoon of brown sugar and stir for a few minutes adding a handful of fresh spinach until wilted and mix in half a cup of grated parmesan cheese and pasta of your choice ok?

Went to buy icecream for my 14 years old cousin when I was 17
The girl serving was around my age, looked at me and said "csókolom!"
Then looked at my cousin and said "szia! Te mit kérsz?"
my mom just told me the funniest story, like i'm sorry that happened to her but i have tears in my eyes laughing at this.
apparently once some guy came up to our flat and said that he was looking for her (my mom's) daughter. because he saw her come up here and he'd like to get to know her. now, you'd think. my mom has two daughters, surely the guy meant me or my sister?
WRONG.
you see, this happened decades ago. my mom was..... [drumroll] SEVENTEEN years old. her "daughter"? her best friend. who was ALSO seventeen years old.
talk about looking old for your age.
