shit about my wardens

had to post it somewhere right????

Okay so like I have three ??? Warden ocs cause like three ideas popped in my head and like there’s Ariadne Tabris my city elf who kinda is THE warden she has a verse of her own basically and then there’s Ezreal Amell and Surana Amell who are both... well they’re siblings and they kinda share a verse because fuck canon apparently, idk it’s kinda my version of Hawke... in... Origins. (Cause I don’t have a Hawke yet and tbh my Hawke is gonna be all kinds of weird knowing me).

Ariadne Tabris, okay so she’s this manipulative shit of a Warden I mean the thing is she never wanted to be a warden, she never wanted anything but leaving the confines of the alienage and like when the opportunity arose she took it (also she didn’t want to deal with the repercussions of her actions towards the humans because it’s one thing to be rebellious but another to be a martyr and she’s really not the martyr type not in the beginning anyway). Uh, she’s a big believer in elf rights but at the same time she’s like one of the better off elves and she thinks she can speak for her race as a whole and she’s sort of always wanted more and she takes everything for granted the good and the bad? Like the fact that she got a good marriage meant nothing to her because she’d never met the guy and she while that might be something other people wanted she wanted no part in it because she grew up a warrior and warriors don’t get wooed they kill things and stuff so she basically was a total dick to her fiance and his like reactions to her rudeness only seemed to justify how shitty she was being in her head.

I mean like after becoming a warden which was kinda close to what she wanted to become she felt trapped by the warden lifestyle so the warden’s being dead and stuff actually worked out pretty well for her and in the beginning she was kind of an ass to Alistair about him being sad because well she barely knew Duncan or any of them but eventually she realized that was a bad tactic and she tried to kind of see things from his perspective. That’s kind of the thing Alistair manages to be kind of good for her even if they’re both immature people to say the least and shouldn’t be in positions of power but like still he makes her more human I guess.

Idk I kind of wanted her to die off at the end because like ??? She’s awful and she’d probably just be like ‘fuckin archedemons and shit look what bullshit this pathetic excuse for a country made me put myself through’ and it’s all very sad. But she’d probably live to fight another day and like she’d go off to find a cure for the blight cause she felt cheated and she’d probably resort to blood magic if all else fails but like tbh she’s a reaver so idk if the blight actually effects them according to lore lol. She probably became a reaver to escape that shit.

Uhm she’d probably make her way to Skyhold esp if Alistair is dead in that verse and like she’d pretend to be the nice hero of fereldan for a bit so she could learn about the herald who she’d probably hate for being.well...human. And like red lyrium she’d be interested in that and she’d probably try to usurp the Inquisition lol. She’s horrible. (Lived long enough to become a villain)

Ezreal Amell + Octavia Amell

They’re both Amells and y’know raised in Kirkwall but there’s actually a three year age gap between Ez and Octavia. Ezreal was more of a Daddy’s boy if that’s even a thing and like he basically spent all his time around Dad until he was old enough to display magical gifts (p damn old he was like eleven) and then he got shipped off to the Circle by his mother which he’s always hated her for. Especially because why Fereldan? Is he that much of a disgrace, that said he was genuinely surprised when his sister showed up there about a year later when she was nine because she too was a mage? They’re kinda opposites though so Ez and Octavia didn’t have even remotly similar friend groups and like Octavia hung out with all the chantry recruits because she wished she was them, both of them had some serious worship of the Trevellyans because with Trevellyans their children were less heirs and more potentials templars, sisters, and occasionally circle mages but lol not with the Amells. Anyway so like Octavia prayed every day to lose her powers and she tried to surpress them but it never worked because she actually had a lot of power and the more she hated it the more it seemed to grow, when she did use magic (cause she had to) she only used it to heal as a means to like make amends for the sins she’d apparently committed. Ezreal on the other hand liked being special and got up to all kinds of pranks and basically grew into this man child because like he was given food, board, and all the time in the world and he was gonna use that to its’ full potential.

Octavia’s harrowing was first and it went p well she probably got out quick cause she blundered through it like ‘fuck you fade’ speaking of which she rarely sleeps because she doesn’t wanna see the fade. Ez on the other hand barely made it out, he was kinda old during his harrowing too... Anyway like Octavia was horrified that Jowan was a blood mage whereas Ezreal like it was his first time seeing a blood mage and he felt a lot more resentful towards them after what he witnessed and like becoming wardens together Octavia was like ‘a chance to meet new people!’ and Ez was like ‘freedom and probably death’. Anyway long story short Ez because this mage that kind of hates blood magic to bits and kinda doesn’t even like being a mage he’d rather be a traveler or a rogue. Octavia loses all faith in the chantry over her journey and eventually becomes a blood mage and completely engrossed in magic and it’s v bad because she like becomes corrupt and shit and like tries to kill her bro but he kinda tries to kill her back and Ez decides to become a healer right about then. And like after the archedemon they part ways and like Ez wants to go to Kirkwall and Octavia leaves and basically joins a cult in Fereldan worshipping like dragons or something and she becomes kind obsessed with dragon blood, then later after the whole red lyrium thing in Kirkwall she becomes obsessed with finding that for herself to make her more powerful so by the time inquisition rolls around Ezreal is an advisor maybe and Octavia is like a disgustingly powerful red lyrium addict who’s been hiding out in Tevinter and why are most of my characters villain s ?????????????
