Do you ever just assume people know all the nice things that you think about them?

Seriously though, like when you’re with your friends and  you just think that they know how awesome you think they are but you never actually express it. But, then all the compliments come out in the form of a yearbook quote or through a card and they look at you and go “Dude that’s nothing like you.”

But, they don’t understand that it is you, it’s just the inner you.

So I’ve got a million things I haven’t done. That list is going to get shorter. 

Here’s a list

- Solve a Rubik’s Cube

- Build an Arduino circuit

- Learn RobotC graphical

- Build a robot

- Knit

- Study Organic Chemistry

- Study Calculus

- Study Physics

- Workout - push ups, sit ups, stretching multiple times a day

- Draw

- Learn Paint Tool SAI

- Learn HTML and Java

- Organize a Girl Powered Event

- Organize a robotics scrimmage

- Organize a full tournament

- Sing

Sometimes you don’t need to have any particular thing that has you down and tired. Sometimes it’s all the little stuff that keep adding and edging away at your happiness leaving you feeling worn out. 

It’s the t-shirt you planned on wearing but couldn’t find.

It’s the puddle you stepped in on your way to work, or the car that splashed you. 

It’s the lunch left forgotten on the counter top and remembered too late.

Or the test that was failed. 

Or the too crowded subway.

...

And it adds up and takes a toll. 

Like a fabric that has slowly been rubbed raw or a stone being erodid, everything has an impact. 

So yes somedays aren’t your day. But not everyday has to be. I know people say to look on the bright side but sometimes all I want them to say is absolutely nothing and just listen to me. Even if it’s just for a few minutes. Act like what I’m saying is reasonable and just allow me to feel peace. 

Sometimes the best way for me to feel grateful is by saying my daily mishaps out loud and realizing that they aren’t so great. But, when I keep it to myself then it seems like a really big deal

Guys what is a line? Only another shape!

Okay so a line seems pretty simple, but when you really zoom up on it it’s either a really flattened rectangle, oval, or a weird hybrid combination of the two, that has been coloured in. If you take away the inside of a line and just leave the edges then you get a shape, and you can keep going forever.

A fun party game would be to sit in a circle and take turns balancing a book on your head. The person balancing the book needs to try to stand up without letting the book fall. Then you keep going eliminating the losing people each time. Then the next round add another book and keep going till three’s only .one winner.
