i genuinely believe that 2012 leo just cannot tell platonic and romantic attraction apart and that’s why he was so weird about Karai. he was envious of her because she was cool, and had more freedom (lack of leader responsibility, able to walk on the surface+in the day, never had to follow laws or rules) and his brothers just assumed it was romantic, and he didn’t know how to correct them because, if ALL of them saw it as romantic he must have been the one in the wrong.

I was extremely bored so have some near-platonic Apriltello.

It’s been a while since I sketched and if I’m being completely honest, I love these two dorks. This is Donnie helping April study for a chem final.

I read a post a while back talking about how to fix Apriltello by making it less about ‘love at first sight’ and more about ‘friends to lovers’. I think these two would totally bond over science and studying. (thank you to the comments, y’all found the post for me!! here it is, everyone seemed to like their idea a LOT so perhaps with a little permission from them i could expand my doodles)

I also tweaked April’s costume/design a little, I think she’s more of a ‘oversize tee over long sleeve’ type gal. Also, apologies for my atrocious handwriting.
