Do you know if this is a good bee shield? I've tried following the references but they're a lot harder to figure out compared to the sheets people have made for gun parts

Reference guides for Shields are generally more difficult to follow because some Manufacturers either build parts that have the exact same models as others or do not build a part at all.

From what I am able to tell, you have a Torgue Body, Maliwan or Pangolin Battery, and Anshin Capacity. The only decent part is the Anshin Capacity, as it increases Amp Damage, but the other parts either increase Recharge Delay or decrease Recharge Rate.

What is considered a "perfect" Bee is all Hyperion parts. While this does decrease Recharge Rate, it also decreases Recharge Delay and increases Amp Damage.

EDIT: As @avocadoarms has said in the Notes, the best parts for an Amp Shield are either all Tediore or Maliwan parts. Apologies for the misinformation.

Regardless, this is a good find, even if the parts are not optimal for whatever Build you are running.

(Also, apologies for taking so long to answer back. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago and it has been difficult.)

Now, I learned that the skins (not heads) from the SHiFT Codes, specifically the ones referencing BL:TPS can be world-dropped from "appropriate sources". What are these sources, if I may ask. BTW, I checked the fandom.com website and that's all of the information I got.

So, this may be difficult to explain, but I'm going to try and make this as cohesive as possible without confusing you or anyone else. If I didn't answer your question to your satisfaction, I apologize.

Most Skins (and Heads, for that matter) have a dedicated drop source. This could be from completing Badass Rank Challenges, killing certain Bosses, turning in Story or Side Missions, and more. There are even certain Skins that are only available as loyalty rewards for players who have downloaded and played other games in the franchise; this includes Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and Tales from the Borderlands (Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and New Tales from the Borderlands do not count).

Now, finally, there are Skins that are only available as random drops. Throughout my many hours playing the franchise, I most frequently found these Skins dropped from enemies or by opening lootable containers. Since it is all luck and chance at this point, I recommend fighting Bosses who drop a bounty of loot when killed, such as the Empyrean Sentinel (Location: Eleseer).

Taking A Break From Borderlands - For Now

I have been loyally following the Borderlands franchise and posting any news or findings to this Blog for several years. Having been a fan of the franchise for nearly 13 years, I have survived the highs and lows with each game released by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia.

However, I think I have reached the point where I need to take a break from the franchise and this Blog. I have other pursuits I want to follow through with, and my job maintaining and updating this Blog is getting in the way of them. I will always love the Borderlands franchise, but my faith in Gearbox Software has gradually waned ever since the release of Borderlands 3′s Season Pass 2. New Tales from the Borderlands was, sadly, the final nail in the coffin and the last of the second chances I was generously giving Gearbox Software.

I will be back some day, but not anytime soon. I promise that if anything huge breaks out, I will cover it - or at least give mention to it - but there will be no regular posts from me for a while.

Thank you all so much for following me through this journey, and understanding why I am making this decision.

If the owner of the blog didnt like TFTBL2 who cares? Its not like theyre gonna force you into not liking it too.

To be honest, I haven't even played New Tales from the Borderlands yet, so I'm not really allowed to say if I did like it or not. However, based on first impressions from what I have seen from the gameplay reveal and its marketing, I do not have a high opinion of the game.

Again, if you found something in the game I'm happy for you. However, I don't believe I will enjoy it in the same ways.

The game is good stop being so sour

Hello.

I don't believe I am being "sour". I think I am being more skeptical than anything because I feel the quality of Gearbox's content has waned since the release of Borderlands 3's Season Pass 2. This is my opinion, of course, so please do not let it sour your own.

If you found the game enjoyable, I am happy for you! I will still play it down the line, but only when it goes on sale and I don't have to pay the full release price for it.
