"heh, nice one, babe."

Your boyfriend couldn't help but smile at your attempt at making a pun, trying to match his joke prowess. Which you were slightly jealous of, how could he just come up with them one the spot.

The guy could never failed to make you laugh.

Sometimes to the point where you could barely breathe and your ribs hurt, isn't that the best kind?

Yet, it made you notice, no matter how funny you thought you were being, you never got him to laugh the way he did to you.

Though you knew how he was, and you knew the little 'heh' he would give you wasn't a real laugh, far from it.

You could tell it wasn't real, Papyrus could tell, heck even a Froggit could tell.

Now, you knew about everything he'd been through, at least he tried to explain it, but you got why he hid most of his emotions, and you didn't blame him after everything.

But everyone deserves a good laugh, a real laugh.

And dangit, you were gonna do everything in your power to make sure he laughed harder than he had in years.

The question was, how?

You knew he loved puns, but you weren't sure that was enough in this instance.

You still tried that though, and you got a massive grin from him, but barely a laugh. You even purposely acted clumsy, and while you may have ended up with a bruise or two, you could tell he was holding in a laugh while he helped you back up.

That was progress at least.

You ended up in your shared room, texting away in your group chat with Papyrus, Alphys and Undyne, hoping they could help you out.

They however, had not the slightest clue about what to do. Honestly you hoped Papyrus could give you something, being his brother and all.

You were running out of ideas, what is the most funny thing you could think off, other than Sans' puns.

You decided you weren't gonna get anywhere with an empty stomach, maybe you'd find some inspiration on your walk from your room to the kitchen, you never know.

You stopped yourself once you walked through the doorway. Surely you weren't hearing what you thought you were.

You walked over to the railing and looked down to the couch, and sure enough, there was Sans.

Laughing.

He appeared to be watching a video on his phone, headphones on, you couldn't tell what it was but he must've really been enjoying it.

He was trying to cover his mouth to stop himself but he couldn't help the cute 'mweh heh hehs' that kept slipping out.

He must've thought you had left the house, you figured he would be trying harder to suppress them if he knew you were there.

You felt like your heart was literally about to explode, his laugh was the most adorable thing you'd ever heard.

He must've gotten the feeling that someone was watching him. He slipped his headphones off and looked around, eventually noticing you and the massive smile on your face.

His eyelights went out momentarily and a bright blue blush quickly rose to his cheekbones.

"...how long have you been there."

"Long enough to know that, that was absolutely adorable."

You quickly made your way down the stairs and to the couch, where you propped yourself up against the back so you could give him a slight hug from behind.

His blush was still as bright as before, though he hid his face in one of his hands.

"Aww, don't be embarrassed."

You nuzzled the side of his skull with your face in an attempt to get him to look back at you.

"this is why I hide it, this is always everyones reaction."

He lifted his skull from his palm and rested that hand on your arm.

"It's an accurate reaction, it's the cutest thing I've ever heard."

He let out a breath that told you he was both still embarrassed but also amused by how much you loved it.

"not as cute as you, ya dork."

He pressed his teeth to your cheek and motioned for you to sit next to him. To which you climbed over the couch and pretty much falling on the cushions, getting a slight 'mweh', now that he wasn't trying to hide it from you.

Not to mention that shining smile when you heard it made his soul flutter.

"What where you watching anyway."

He unplugged his headphones and pressed play on his phone screen.

It was a video of you and Papyrus in the middle of a snowball fight, it took place a couple days after you first moved in with the brothers.

He loved seeing how much fun Papyrus had around you, and that was one thing he wanted most, the two most important people in his life getting along.

"So me getting pummeled by snowballs is funny."

Yes, yes it was, and you thought so as well.

"what, are you gonna tell me it's not."

You giggled and shook your head, you continued watching the video while he wrapped an arm around you and pulled you to his side.

"so...you really do love my laugh."

"Are you kidding, how could I not. I swear that just made my year."

He smiled at you and planted another kiss on your forehead. He then laid down, pulling you down to lay on his side with your back against the couch.

The two of you spent the next few hours watching the moments that Sans had managed to catch in his phone over the time you'd been friends, many after you had began dating as well.

He didn't try to suppress his laughs any longer, much to your delight.

Sure his skull still had dustings of blue when he saw your smile from the corner of his eyesockets but he adored seeing you happy.

Mission accomplished, now time to cuddle your adorable skeleton.

This turned out slightly longer than I meant it too, I'm bad about that sometimes.

This is also a bit of a test one-shot for Tumblr since all my other ones are on Wattpad, I'm looking forward to writing more here.
