Asks End On August 1st.
(This was fun for the years I’ve run this blog, but I’m just not into TBLT like I used to. Therefore, on August 1st, I am going to go inactive on the blog. Thank you for your understanding!

Anonymous asked: Hey guys! Always remember to enjoy life! It's beautiful, and you never know how much time you have left.
Toaster: Hello again! And thank you very much!
Blanky: Awwww, absolutely! There's so much out there, after all!!
Lampy: And whatever you do, don't let the dark times get you down, whatever you do! They don't last forever!
Radio: Why, that's a message I can get behind!
Kirby: Thanks. Be sure to heed your own advice, too.

Toaster: Oh! This is really cool! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Blanky: Makes me think of angels helping people at their lowest points. I like that!
Lampy: Just goes to show, light will always beat the dark!
Radio: Hm, heavy. I like it!
Kirby: The slower start is nice. Makes it more meaningful.

Toaster: Hello! I like this one a lot!
Blanky: Ooooh, this one's cool! I wanna save the world!!
Radio: That was quite charged! Full of love, but action!
Lampy: I have to agree! Though, it can be a bit much at times...
Kirby: This one's not so bad.

Use Google Translate for English lyrics!
Toaster: Wow... I'm in awe. I don't know what to say!
Blanky: I can feel their exhaustion...
Lampy: Missing everything, forgiving everything. It's quite bittersweet.
Radio: Such a strong message. What a poor, poor person!
Kirby: It sounds like they've been through a lot.

Anonymous asked: If you guys suddenly were turned into something else, how would you feel about it? And if you could do anything you wanted, what would you do?
Toaster: Hello again! Hm... I think it would be a bit strange, to say the least! But if it means I can do anything... Huh. What would I do?
Blanky: I'll try anything once! I have a long list...
Lampy: I would scour the biggest library in the world!
Radio: Instead of just broadcasting, I'd probably run a station! Which one? Not sure! But one nonetheless!
Kirby: A powerwashing business.
Toaster: I guess that's better than anything I could come up with.
Blanky: He could hose us away...
Lampy: No way! He wouldn't!
Kirby: I will neither confirm nor deny.
Radio: That's what a guilty person would say!
Blanky: Bring it on! 我不怕你!!
Kirby: I'll consider it.
Lampy: No! Absolutely not!!
Toaster: Maybe I'll try... Baking...? Wait, what're you guys going on about?

Anonymous asked: Hi, Narcissa here, Luxley Faerie. I live in a stadium where they play concerts. What are your favorite types of music. I, for one, like hard rock.
Hard rock is good! I'm fond of different things, as are the others, but I also enjoy metal, too!
Oh, wait... I think this was actually answered before! Here it is!

Anonymous asked: Hi Kirby, this is Fluffy. Sending you greetings from vacuum to vacuum, as I remembered today is your favorite holiday. Last year it was also my birthday, which is tomorrow, but sadly, I couldn't greet you personally at that time. But I did think of you.
I see. Then, it's nice to meet you. Better late than never, I think. Have a happy birthday tomorrow.

Anonymous asked: What things that have nothing to do with your functions are you guys really good at?
Toaster: Would... Being the voice of reason count? Or, hm...
Blanky: I've been told that I'm really good at comforting others. That makes me so happy!
Lampy: Oh, math! I'm pretty good at that!
Radio: I'm very partial to the art of dance!
Kirby: ... Probably games. I've never lost a game of Life. I suppose that's something.
Blanky: Those too!!
Toaster: If that's the case, I'm the best at Monopoly!
Lampy: For better or for worse...
Radio: Though, how is it that you're able to guess so well in Clue?
Lampy: Nope! My lips are sealed!
Blanky: 常识...

Anonymous asked: When you guys just want to enjoy life for a bit, when there's no work to do and nothing to worry about, what do you like to do for fun then?
Toaster: Hello again! Hm... Most things I like to do, are with the others. Usually board games and such. It's always great!
Blanky: Count the cars that pass, by color! Oh, and I really like to draw, too. Oh, and video games!!
Lampy: Well, predictable as it might be, I do enjoy a good book! Nothing's better, I think!
Radio: Looking back at old newscasts! There's a charm to seeing the day-to-day of yesteryear.
Kirby: Television, and the occasional video games, too...
Blanky: He likes to yell the answers during game shows.
Kirby: I don't "yell"! I just wish the contestants had an actual brain in their heads!
Lampy: You sound pretty loud, for someone who's speaking!
Kirby: Anyway, you're one to talk...
Lampy: Me?!
Toaster: No no, I can see it. I think both of you get pretty, uh... Passionate.
Blanky: What if they were contestants themselves one day? Do you think they'd win?
Radio: That would be a riot! "Top story tonight: Kirby vacuum and Marigold lamp compete on Jeoparty! The crowd's in awe!"

Anonymous asked: Who are "those guys" that Lampy mentioned? More appliances you five have met? I'd like to know!
Lampy: Hello, Anonymous! To answer your question, yes! They were appliances we got to know a bit. They lived in Mr. McGroarty's grandmother's apartment!
Radio: Though, our first impressions weren't all that swell. They thought they were better than us. All because they were newer. Rookie mistake!
Blanky: But in the end, we made up. When they saw how much Mr. McGroarty's dad wanted us instead of them, they changed their tune. They had to.
Toaster: And yet, we have no idea where they are now. We haven't seen them since.
Kirby: That's just the way it goes sometimes. People come in and out of your life.

Anonymous asked: Do you guys know that you're vintage? That would make you kind of sought after and valuable in some peoples' eyes.
Toaster: Oh, yeah! We sure do! I think it's needless to say that we're pretty grateful for that.
Radio: Some of us are so old, we predate entire generations! Who knew that we'd still be here, after all this time?
Blanky: And to think, at one point, we were once "cutting edge"... But now? They want "more, more, more" of us! 太讽刺了...
Lampy: Yeah, exactly! Say, I wonder whatever happened to those guys. We never really heard from them after Mr. McGroarty's father took us to college, not really...
Kirby: Regardless, they wouldn't have known what was coming. Same goes for everyone else. Maybe they learned a thing or two since then.

Anonymous asked: And how about this one? Garou's "Je suis le meme".
youtube
English lyrics!
Toaster: Oh, this one's in French! It's a nice song, but... Wow, the emotion...
Blanky: Poor guy! Lost himself a little, then lost his love!
Lampy: How awful! Not the song itself, but what happened to him!
Radio: I can just hear the sorrow and pain in his voice!
Kirby: He deserves better...

Anonymous asked: How do y'all like "Drowning in Darkness" by Beyond the Black? I like it quite a lot.
youtube
Toaster: I feel like I can relate to this. Sometimes, it's hard to keep it together, when it's as if everything is falling apart, you know?
Blanky: Oooh, it's so full of emotion! I like that!
Lampy: Oh, my! Drowning in darkness? That sounds awfully scary! ... But the song implies that it's more from sadness and grief. So layered!
Radio: Not quite my taste in tunes, but I can appreciate the passion!
Kirby: A bit loud.

Blanky: Ooooh, I like this one a lot! Makes me feel like I'm there!
Lampy: And to think, this could very well be our future... It better not be!!
Radio: Very 80's! But what a lovely tune!
Kirby: It's pretty good.
