The prices made her sweat but Neji’s talk with her was still in her heart so she went ahead with it anyway and smiled happily as she hung up. She had ordered a variety for them to split and a decent amount as she hummed happily, when she heard Neji call her name she was quick to come over and she couldn’t help but giggle some. While it was certainly far from sexy.. considering Dez couldn’t even swim it was better to have that than something silly like arm floaties. So she gave a nod of her head and she bounced over as she tried it on.. and given how small she was it was a hint too big for her. “What do you think?”

She was absolutely over the moon happy with being here with Neji.. she loved him so much and they were here together. Her heart was racing as she brightened. It was so much fun to explore everything and she was having so much fun already. It was wild to know she wouldn’t be working for a little while and really could just relax with Neji, but when he spoke she darted back over with a smile. “Ah.. maybe sushi? Of course as long as it’s nothing fried I don’t mind whatever we have.” She spoke as she smiled and wrapped her arms around him. Her eyes adoring as she smiled up at him and pulled him in for a kiss before pulling away to grab the take out menus and grinning. “Oh look. There is sushi. Are you in the mood for it?” 

“Of course, sweetheart.  Order whatever you want.  I need to air out the rooms.  I’ll trust you to order for me as well.”  He went upstairs, opening up windows in some of the mustier rooms to let  in the warm salty air.  It was a nice fall evening.  They could use the breeze with the home being so rarely occupied. 

Other than the bedroom Dez chose, there were several others, the home often occupied by a larger portion of the Hyuuga family.  He checked on the rooms, making sure everything was in order and fetching out his old paddle board from the storage room.  “Sweetheart, come try this on.  If it doesn’t fit, I’ll buy you a new one in the morning.”  He had a life jacket in his hands, the exact opposite of sexiness.

She really wasn’t strong even if she joked about being able to do any lifting at all. She just didn’t have much muscle on her at all.. So she went and decided to unpack the bags, looking at him and grinning a bit. “I appreciate that.. I promise I’ll make sure to put everything away nicely.” She was just happy as can be being on a trip with him.. it was nice.. and the fact that it was just them made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  She then went to the closet and shook it all out to make sure it was nice and clean and good before starting to put it on the bed for them to sleep on while they were here. Her heart was fluttering as she smiled to herself and bounced over to Neji once she was done with her jobs. “I’ve unpacked bags and put the bedding on.. Anything else I can help with?” 

Neji finished unloading the car, leaving the sporting equipment he’d brought in the living room.  “You should explore the house.  Don’t concern yourself with unpacking,” he assured her.  There really wasn’t much to unpack anyways.  The car he’d brought wasn’t large so he hadn’t even packed groceries.  He doubted Dez would mind ordering in. 

He set about opening the shutters on all the windows, letting the evening light in to brighten up the home.  It was a pity they hadn’t been able to leave earlier i the day but it was only Friday.  “What would you like for dinner?  There should be some take out menus in one of the kitchen drawers.”

Saying it was strange to be in the Hyuga compound was like a fish noticing how odd it was to be walking on land and just belatedly realizing that fact. After Hinata’s battle with Neji and his subsequently with Naruto, Sakura wasn’t sure how she should approach, well… any of the Hyuga. Even if she was there as Hinata’s friend to help her train, she couldn’t help but feel like a trespasser, especially– Oh.

“Um… hello, Neji-sama. Sorry if I got in your way…”

Well that face certainly didn’t belong in the Hyuuga compound.  What was she doing there?  “You shouldn’t refer to me so deferentially.  People might think you’re unfamiliar with correct etiquette and are overcompensating.“  Ah, he was in a mood, but then, Sakura had unintentionally intruded on his space.

“I take it you haven’t appeared before me for instruction in qigong.  Are you looking for Hinata-sama?  If so, you’ve taken a wrong turn.  This is the gardens.”  He didn’t blame her for getting lost.  There were many paths and no signs, one of the reasons guests usually had an escort. Hinata was still in with Hiashi, probably the reason why Sakura was unattended.  “Hinata-sama is in the main meeting hall.  You probably passed it on your way in.  She’ll be a few more minutes.  The meeting has run long.”
