800 Black Women and Non-binary Performers signed an Open Letter Condemning the Racist Abuse Francesca Amewudah-Rivers is Facing...
These are just a few of the ones I recognize...
Talk to Me's Sophia Wilde:
Susan Wokoma from the criminally underseen Crazyhead and the recent Enola Holmes movie:
Wunmi Mosaku from His House, Loki, and the just released BBC series, Passenger:
Lashana Lynch from Still-StarCrossed, The Woman King, No Time to Die...
Sheila Atim from The Woman King and Dr Strange The Multiverse of Madness
Freema Agyeman from Doctor Who and New Amsterdam:
...and the legendary Oscar-nominated, Marianne Jean Baptiste:
among many, many, others...
I love that it is Black women and non-binary people who are Black who are uplifting Francesca.

Brief thought on the season two finale
OK, I will give more substantial thoughts on the season finale later, but I have one The Way Home thought I need to share:
Am I the only one who finds Elliot being like 'btw, found this coin guy who said that the coins Kat got were very valuable and you should sell them to save the land' to DEL before even SPEAKING TO KAT ABOUT IT FIRST absolutely unhinged? It was absolutely glossed over like many things in the finale
I'm not even saying this as a Thomas fan. From Elliot's perspective this is what he knows/this is what he does:
Kat cares about Thomas and there are some romantic undertones (as established in previous episodes)
Kat cares enough about Thomas to go back just to say goodbye
Kat has known a lot of loss and grief and comes back from that goodbye really saddened, having been gifted these coins as a gift by an ostensibly dying man
Takes a photo of these coins for seeming plot NO REASON
Checks with some dude about whether they are worth anything
Does not have a conversation with Kat about it
Brings it up to Del at the dinner table in front of everyone, effectively removing any chance of Kat having any feelings about it and making it extremely difficult for her to express any hesitancy about this idea if she has any
I found it absolutely bananas. That then later coupled with the 'I want you to choose me', which would indicate that he might know exactly the depth of Kat's feelings for Thomas after all, made what was intended to be a romantic Elliot and Kat moment seem very sinister. Elliot is either not clocking the significance of the coins because he is not paying attention or he is choosing to ignore it because he is so focused on wanting to win Kat back that those feelings ranks higher than doing what would, in my opinion, be the bare minimum.
Like the episode was rushed beyond belief anyway, but honestly, what was that scene? I'm in disbelief

The Way Home is literally one of THE BEST SHOWS WRITTEN IN OUR TIME! I knew it was Colton that was watching him and Elliot talk at the party. Elliot time traveled, Jacob came back, The Landrys have their land back, and Casey Goodwin is a mystery!!! The writers know what he'll they are doing!
