Evie steps into the bedroom, closing the door carefully behind her. She climbs up on the bed and sits on her boyfriends lap “Hello.” “Why hello...” Ty wraps his arms around her carefully. “So how was it being called daddy?” she smirked a little giving him a quick kiss on the nose. “Uh...” he squinted at her for a second “You know it was cute, yet a little weird.” “Maybe it’s just because your her fake-daddy.” Evie chuckled. “Yeah... maybe.” “Are you okay sweetie?” she asked him. “Oh yeah, I’m good.” he said and she raised an eyebrow at him “Okay. I saw that missed call you got yesterday and looked up the number.” “Jesse?” she sighed. “Why is he calling you? Are you guys talking again?” “No!” she said quickly “We’re not, he just calls me...” “He just calls you? How often?” he frowned. “Everyday.” she sighed “He calls me and hangs up.” She could see Ty getting annoyed, gritting his teeth. “I’m not sure what I think about that.” “That’s okay, I’m not either.” she shrugged “But I can’t just block him, he is her bio-dad.” “I know you’re right but I still hate the guy.” Ty sighed. “Well you know what I think we should do to lighten the mood?” she giggled and he quickly spun them around on the bed. “What?” “Give you a real reason to be called daddy.” she said starting to lift his shirt.

The winds outside were rustling through the old trees, somehow the moon seemed to shine more vividly in Windenburg. Ty had just put Josephine to bed and he could see her little eyes fluttering closed while he was finishing up the last sentences of the storybook. “Goodnight cupcake...” he murmured and brushed some hair out of her face. “Night... daddy.” “Oh...” he let slip and couldn’t help but smile a little. He watched her for a little bit while she fell asleep, it was one of the calmest things to watch. A toddler falling asleep. He smiled and pulled out his phone to text Evie about the cute moment.

“Okay cupcake.” Ty stood up, the old floor creaked as he stepped over to Josephine who was playing with her blocks on the floor. He scooped her up and she laughed softly “We should make you some dinner and get you to bed soon. What do you feel like having?” he smiled and she frowned for a second looking like she was thinking about it. “You want crackers don’t you?” he sighed and she smiled and nodded. “Fine, but don’t tell your mom alright? And tomorrow, it’s nothing but vegetables.” She grimaced at the thought and he gently spun her around “Come on, give me a smile cupcake.”

They wander around the old worn down house for what seems like the thousand time. “I’m telling you Eve, this is the one. I can feel it.” “Really? Because all I feel is the creeps.” she frowned. “I know it’s a little old and run down but we can fix it up, make it look brand spanking new!” he smiled excitedly and she loved it when he smiled like that. Like a little puppy “And it’s way less than our budget so we can certainly afford to fix it up.” “That’s going to take a lot of time...” Evie said. “We can make the time.” “One of us has to make the money.” “Well it’s good that I can work from home then right?” he smirked. “Have you ever built something before honey?” she grimaced. “Of course, I’ve built stuff, I’ve painted stuff. Me and my brothers helped our dad renovate the old place while growing up, it was the most fun I ever.”  “Really...” she grinned running her hand down his cheek “Well that’s kind of hot.” “And you can help when you have the time, I promise, it’s going to be so much fun Sweets.” She studied him for a second before giving in “Fine.” “Fine?” “This is the one.” “Are you serious?” “Yes puppy eyes.” she gave him a quick peck and he grimaced. “Don’t call me puppy please.” “But I love you my little puppy.” She giggled. “Boy are you gonna get it.” he tickled her a little before pulling her close and kissing her.

Intense kissing~ “Honey...” Evie mumbles between kisses “I have no idea what’s happening in this movie.” “I don’t really care, do you?” Ty grinned and kissed her again with his arms tightly wrapped around her. “Well we payed a pretty penny for it.” Ty let his arm slide down her back not letting her eyes go “I can’t concentrate on it when you’re around anyway.” “Oh really?” “Yeah.” he leaned in closer “Are you still wearing my boxers?” he murmured and they both jumped when a man a few seats over coughed loudly in their direction. “Well... yes.” she giggled “Laundry is such a hassle, and these are super comfy!” she grinned. “Well I can’t stop picturing you in them. Just my boxers...” The man a few seats over cleared his throat loudly and Ty threw him an annoyed look while Evie giggled. “Oh my god, Ty...” “Should we get out of here?” he said biting his lip. “Hell yeah.” she nodded and Evie watched the man slouch back into his chair looking depressed while they left the theater.

“So I know you’re a born and bred city kid and all but... I’ve been thinking, the apartment is cramped and we can barely afford the rent as it is. If we move out of the city, get a country place we could get double the space for the money we’re paying now. I got a friend who’s dating this real estate girl and I’m sure she could help us out. If you want to, move to a house with me, that is...” he trailed off and starred into his food. Evie squeezed his leg under the table and he looked up “I think that sounds pretty great actually.” she nodded and he looked surprised. “Really? I thought you’d hate the idea.” “No I never pictured myself living in San Myshuno my whole life.” she shrugged “I think it sounds amazing actually.” “Okay... wow. I guess we can start looking for a house huh?” he smiled. “Well I mean if we’re trying to have a baby we certainly need the space.” she said and she could see him blush slightly “You do still want that right?” “Yes of course.” he nodded, his eyes wandered down towards her stomach “But we’re not... yet right?” “Oh no.” she chuckled “Unless I wake up and start vomiting I wouldn’t worry just yet.” “Okay.” he smiled and leaned over to kiss her on the cheek “Maybe I should propose, make an honest woman out of you.” he grinned. “No rush, I doubt a ring on my finger would make me more honest.” she winked at him. Although a little twinge of excitement ran through her at the thought of them getting married.
