L'Enfer Club was a visual kei band from 1991 to 1998. The band had a focus on gothic and vampire aesthetics, drawing heavily from French literature as well. The band dissolved in 1998 on amicable terms, in part due to vocalist Mars' undisclosed medical condition. He later re-emerged with the announcement of solo project a year later.
