First Generation Elvenkings

Thingol - Sindarin king of Beleriand

Ingwë - King of the Vanyar in Valinor

Finwë - King of the Noldor in Valinor

Seriously, Thingol is having none of your sass.  None of it.  Ingwë looks like he invented Elven sass, and Finwë actually looks pretty nice.

(The only mistake, which is probably not a mistake and just perspective for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, is the Ingwë appears to be taller than Thingol, and at 9′ / 3m tall, Thingol Greycloak was the tallest Elf, period.  Perhaps that is because the Elvenking with the longest rule is Ingwë, so he appers the highest.  Finwë was killed by Morgoth and centuries later Thingol was slain by dwarves over the Nauglamir.  Ingwë was never killed, but he never returned to Middle-earth either.)

Elven ladies of the First Age:

Aredhel - (Noldo) sister of King Turgon of Gondolin, left her home against her brother’s wishes.  She loved to ride free and to hunt.  Her marriage to Eöl was her choice, but she would not be solely ruled by either her husband or her royal kin.  Though her final fate was sorrowful, she lived on her own terms.

Galadriel - (Noldo) daughter of Finarfin, was one of the few women who chose to leave Valinor and the relative safety of remote Aman to seek a realm of her own in Middle-earth.  She was tall, strong, beautiful, and brave.  She endured three Ages in Middle-earth, succored the ring bearer, bestowed wise gifts, refused the One Ring’s temptation, and threw down the walls of Dol Guldur. 

Lúthien - (Sinda / Maia) daughter of King Thingol of Doriath, was a literal self-rescuing princess.  Despite being imprisoned in a tree house, she escaped by herself to help her beloved Beren on his dread quest to recapture a Silmaril.  She defeated a Maia (Sauron), rescued Beren from a dungeon, ensnared a dark Vala with her enchantments, brought the Vala of Doom to tears of mercy with her song, and then rescued her boyfriend for the second time, from death itself.
