I think I may have found the game.
(You must have a Windows PC to open this.)
http://pokesho.com/masato/3/game.html
This automatically downloads an HTML document on your browser. Click on it, and it’ll take you to a Japanese download site of the game. I took a screenshot of my computer screen with my iPad (translated).
Tumblr media
I haven’t tested it out yet, but I can’t do it right now because I have school. If someone who has a PC could test this out for me, then let me know if it works. I really hope it does. Thanks.
EDIT: I clicked download and this immediately popped up.

So, an update on the Super Masato 3 search...
I got nothing.
I translated the current site pokesho.com, which is the site the game is on or at least hosted on, and I have not found a single mention of this game, or any of their games for that matter. One thing that got me to this conclusion was a message on the site saying this.
Tumblr media
I say the last update to the site was sometime around early to mid 2020, since the latest piece of fanart carries a February 2020 date.
I tried checking the site on the Wayback Machine to see if any kind of games, one of them being Super Masato 3 (and possibly their prequels), are on the site, but there’s so many snapshots to work with for just one guy like me, and I can’t translate them.
There’s gotta be an expert in any of these fields, flash games, Japanese websites, lost media, anybody, who can help me out on this. Someone better call Nick Robinson, or LSuperSonicQ, or anybody to help find these games so they can be preserved and I can actually play them!
HELP! WANTED!

Okay, I know I just suddenly disappeared for a while again, but once summer arrives, I’ll try to be on here as much as possible from now on.
For now, I wanna show you all something very cool I just found online.

And no, the gameplay shown here is not fake. This is a real game.
That’s right.
MAX: THE GAME.
Yeah, this is basically a 2D Mario clone, but... I don’t care, I love that this exists, and I love this gameplay style too. I love that the enemies are styled after different Pokémon, I love that there’s voice acting implemented into this (Yeah, it’s recycled audio from the original Japanese anime, but whatev), and, as I just said... I especially love the fact that a Max game exists in general.
However, I would like to see some improvements, especially in the language.
I personally enjoy watching the English dub of the anime (before Battle Frontier) over the original Japanese audio because, well, it’s my native language. If someone were to make an English translation of this game, from translating the Japanese text to English (not just using a translation machine and calling it a day, but that could be used to give you a general hint of what’s being shown) to sampling the English voice lines of Max (from the 4Kids dub specifically) to play whenever he speaks occasionally, and maybe making a few other enhancements in the sound or music department... I would 100% play it. My inner love for Max is screaming in joy.
I’m probably gonna edit this and put in a (safe) download link for the game so all of you can play it too. Stay tuned.
EDIT: I couldn’t find a download link for it. All I heard was it’s on website called pokesho com (can’t add more than one link to a post). I looked it up on my iPad, and I couldn’t find games. Could someone please send me a link to the game once you have found it? I don’t want this game to be lost media! ;w;

(Story and Art by Zachery Ponds.)
One morning, Max wakes up realizing he’s in the form of a Jirachi. He still has his eyes, nose, and glasses. He can still talk like normal. Later, Ash, May, Brock, Norman, and Caroline realize that Max is a Jirachi, but they soon see that this a cool thing. Max and Jirachi were like twin brothers as Max was the same size and shape as Jirachi. Max called himself “Maxrachi”. Later throughout the day, Max soon realized that he can shape-shift between his human-self and his Jirachi form. In Jirachi form, Max had powers and moves similar to a Jirachi, like teleportation, true eye, swift, etc. Max enjoyed having this ability.

I’ve been recently thinking of changing my profile icon. I’ve been using this for too long and I feel like it needs an update.
I’ve got 5 options here and I’d like to have your choice on which one you like the most.

(I just wanted to pick some funny ones, and a couple cute ones.)
What picture should be good for this blog? Or do you have any suggestions to add to this vote?

Zachery Ponds recently sent me some drawings, and they look fantastic (even though they’re straight traces, but that’s fine, at least he makes great stories with them).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think he should go on Tumblr or DeviantArt so he can share his drawings to the fanbase. These are too good to send to just me. Keep up the good work.

Here’s another Max fanfic I recommend.
It’s completely full-scale, with over 100 chapters, focusing on Max’s Pokémon journey, and what’s really impressive about this is that all of this was made this year.
Check this one out. It’s great.

For FourthWheelShipping Day, I’m recommending this fanfiction net user by the name of AdvanceShipping100.
Other than the ship in his username, he mainly focuses on FourthWheelShipping in his fanfics that... likely won’t be updated again, but at least they’re there.
Make sure to read May and Max’s Return, then Max and Bonnie’s Kalos Adventure. They’re really good and I recommend reading them.
