(I don't know why I left this in drafts for literally a year, I just forgot to post it)
Okay so I actually made three encanto ocs. The identical twins, Teresa and Emile (Emile is trans) Teresa's gift is invisibility, Emile's is short range teleportation.
The other is Nemine, he's the twins father. And he's Brunos freind and partner.
(one small piece of backstory of his, he grew up on the beach in Ecuador and whenever he came to the encanto he became friends with Bruno and at one point talked about how much he missed the sand and Bruno was like oh boy do I got a treat for you)

Bruno: good morning! We are starving!
Mirabel: good morning tío Bruno!
S. Guzmán: eek! Are these RATS?
Alma: Bruno, these rats cannot come in the house!
Bruno: these are my friends...
Mirabel: please don't throw them out.
Alma: but they're scaring our guests!

Unpopular Opinion:
I hate the Bruno part of the All Of You song, and I hate that BRUNO was the one apologizing!
He did nothing wrong! He had NOTHING to apologize for!
The others need to apologize to HIM! They should have been begging him for forgiveness for how they shunned and vilified and mistreated him! ESPECIALLY Alma and Pepa, but also the rest of the adult Madrigals and all the townspeople!

The movie put it on Bruno, the victim, to apologize to the people who shunned and vilified him, while said people who shunned and vilified him get off scott-free without having to apologize or anything.
What a great way to put the responsibility onto the victim to apologize for something their bullies/abusers did to them….

Bruno was probably caught sneaking around the house/into the kitchen multiple times but thanks to his impeccable acting skills he always managed to pass himself off as Camilo playing a prank, running away before whoever caught him demands he change back
Camilo, meanwhile, is confused why he keeps getting scolded for “creeping around the house as Bruno” while Dolores just sits and watches
