Tate is a basic, emo alt boy and likes his milk dark like his soul

Aka true moo chocolate milk is a staple in his fridge

Tate also only uses chocolate milk in his cereal and that is a really specific pet peeve of constance's

His afternoon snack is a bottle of chocolate milk and string cheese

Lactose intolerance? Tate doesn't know her.

Kit

Actually severely intolerant to all milk so he either had to take lactaid or suck it up and drink almond milk

He only likes the chocolate almond milk

Something about almond milk makes him really passive aggressive though so he'll drink a lot of strawberry milk with Julia and act like he made a great fatherly sacrifice when he gets really sick

Truth is Kit REALLY just has a thing for strawberry milk

So it feels like a betrayal when Julia gets her hands on some of his chocolate almond milk and decides that it's her new favorite drink

She literally refuses to drink strawberry milk from then on and Kit wonders what he did to hurt her so much that she'd do this to him

Kyle

Kyle is definitely a basic white milk drinking boy

However he prefers to drink juice rather than milk and only uses it for the basics like cereal and dipping oreos

Although one time he almost killed himself trying to chug a whole jug of milk at a frat party

Jimmy is a simple 1950's boy and drinks a glass of milk breakfast, lunch and dinner

His calcium levels are through the roof and bones are very strong

He literally lives under a rock lol

You yawn as you rub your eyes- back was aching and stomach was rumbling.

As you let the bright sun wake you up, you reach beside yourself, expecting to feel the no. 2 hero.

After feeling around, you look over to see an empty bed. He must have had an emergency call or something.

It wasn't unusual for you to find your bed empty in the mornings, as Keigo was often busy. In turn, you were left alone.

Mumbling, you pull your pillow over your face. A knock at the door startles you, and you sit up.

"Hmm? Come in-"

Keigo opens the door with his feathers, carrying a tray of food.

His hair is ruffled and messy, as it usually was, and he wore black sweats and thin gold necklace, upper half decorated with the warm sunlight drifting in the bedroom. His red wings rest at his sides, nearly dragging on the floor. The light breeze coming from the fan in the corner of the room caused his feathers to sway.

How does he always look so perfect?

You laugh and say, "You almost scared me, hun. I thought an intruder broke in."

He walks over, setting down the food on the bed. The golden-eyed man chucked, replying, "And you just said 'come in'? That doesn't seem very smart."

"Mmm... If you were an intruder, I'd just use you as a way to wake up."

He leans over and kisses you on the cheek.

"I know I haven't been home much, but I wanted to make it up to you. So... breakfast?"

You smile and look up at him, grabbing the necklace around his neck and pull him in. The two of you exchanged a light kiss, and you whisper, "you know me well.”

You look down at the tray. Cups of coffee, donuts, and pumpkin muffins please your eyes.

"Damn even just looking at this makes me full," you say, eyeing a maple donut.

"Dig in before it gets cold, love".

He made your drink exactly as you like it, of course. Recently he'd been more attentive to your likes and dislikes, which was nice.

With him being gone so often, it made you appreciate the little things of your relationship. The inside jokes, random hugs, flicks on your forehead... You savored every moment with him. Even when you argued, you knew he'd still be on your side in the end.

And anyway, most of the time the argument would be over something dumb- like when you didn’t realize he was behind you and ended up slamming the door on his face.

After breakfast full of joking and almost spilling coffee, you grab the tray to put it in the kitchen. As you clean the dishes, you look out the big window of your apartment.

The sun began to peek over the horizon, lighting up the city with soft orange and pink rays. Traffic slowly built up as the world began to stir. Morning like this were your favorite. Just you, Keigo, and the subtle sound of wind going against the windows.

It was only necessary for you two to buy a place to live that was high up and open.

Therefore, the apartment walls were mostly just floor to ceiling windows, and the view was stunning.

You could see to the other side of the city, and when Hawks had to leave for work he could just dip out the balcony.

Life had been difficult until now, with you taking time off your hero job to go to college, and Kegio having an extremely heavy load of work.

The most recent problems with the League of Villians only added to the stress.

Things were never seeming to settle down, and little by little you guys got to see each other more through the chaos. Sharing a home only strengthened your bond.

Someone crept up behind you and hugged you from behind. You set down the last dish and towel and snuggle into his embrace.

A small tap to a nearby speaker causes a soft song to play and the two of you started swaying to the beat. Keigo pulls you out of the hug, twirling you into a dance.

You match his rhythm perfectly and started getting super into the music as the sun rose. Both of you made eye contact, grinning and laughing. You weren’t the best at dancing, but he payed no mind as he guided you.

As the song faded away, he finally let go and started to put away dishes. "No work today?" you ask.

"Nah, not that I know of. I'm glad though, you know how much I like lazy days."

"Mm, of course," you tease, "that's why I do all the chores.”

He gasps and playfully hits you with a towel. "Not fair!"

When you guys finish, you head back to the bedroom as it was still early. He lays down on the bed and you go to grab your makeup.

"Hey, babe?"

"Yeah?" you reply.

"Can you do my makeup? Yours always looks so cool and I think I'd look good in it."

"Uhh, sure!"

You grab a few products and sit in his lap. he leans his head against the pillow and you get to work.

Gently holding his cheek, you apply his eyeliner. He rests his hands on your waist and lightly traces circles on your lower back. You slowly apply eyeliner, tracing his natural eye marks that you so loved.

His hand reaches for your chin and pulled your face in for a kiss. His warm lips against yours felt like heaven, and even though it only lasted a second, it was comforting.

Your hips pressed against him to get even closer. You felt his lips smirk and he kissed you even more deeply.

You pull away and he strokes your hair.

"I love you, y/n.”

"I love you too. You do need to shave soon though." you joke, pulling at his chin.

Keigo lets out an amused chuckle and you cap the liner, setting it aside.

You lay on top of him, your head resting on his chest as you embraced each other. You close your eyes, listening and focusing on his heartbeat. His breath tickled your head, sending soft shivers down your spine.

He felt like home.
