sort of interesting how Faith is really the only character I don't think Spike had any chemistry with. People had so many expectations about it, and it was just try hard and forgettable. The characters' motives/vibes are just too similar to play off each other.

And from this, I would posit that Spike and Faith had chemistry in Who Are You, not only because it was SMG playing Faith, but because Spike believed it was Buffy. He reacted as if it was Buffy. If Faith as Faith hit him with the exact same lines, Spike probably smirks at her, tells her to put up or shut up, and walks away unbothered.
