Been meaning to say this for a while now... ever since like late 2021. Goddamn.

Even with requests and plenty of loose ideas in my drafts, for some reason I just... really struggled at making posts. All my inspiration and effort fizzled out of me, even if I really wanted to make posts. It took a toll on me, and running this account became less and less fun 😞 I treated it like a chore rather than some silly thing made for a show I liked. Well, used to like...

If you've seen my Instagram stories you know how vocal I've gotten about BSD's writing over this current arc. Long story short, I think it's ass and just a giant hole Asagiri continues to dig. It's just not fun with all the cliffhangers and fake tension. I tried to reread the manga to maybe gain my love for BSD back, but it never came :/ It's just not fun anymore... reading BSD, and running this account.

But I still wanna end this on a positive note. Thank yall so much for the support!! Just liking and reblogging my dumb little anime twitter posts always makes me happy, and I legit squeal whenever someone says my account makes them smile. And I hope yall are smiling right now!! I'm wishing yall the best for 2024, 2025, and every year after that!

Most important: Spend the money you have on a motel. Churches probably will not actually help and shelters can be dangerous or turn you away. At a motel you have free breakfast, access to running water, and a lockable place to sleep. Do not waste money on a gym membership like the popular version of this post says to do, YMCA memberships are like $40.

2. Contact family and friends. Now is not the time to worry about being a burden. Your survival and safety comes first and that is all that matters, anyone worth having in your life will agree.

3. Start a gofundme. Even if someone can’t offer you a place to stay, they might be willing to toss out $5 so you can eat today.

4. Libraries have free wifi. Apply to any and all jobs you can think of if you aren’t already working.

5. Any home is a good home. Even if it’s a dingy apartment in a bad neighborhood. If its cheap and you can afford it, snatch it up. 

6. Pancake mix and peanut butter are filling, cheap, and last a long time.

NYU has terminated a Palestinian medical student resident who expressed Pro Palestine beliefs. They accused him of spreading hatred and being anti semitic. Sign this petition to reinstate him and help spread the word so this doesn’t happen again.

Just had a brief talk with my mom that really gave me some insight on how a lot of people (especially Americans) are viewing the Palestinian genocide.

She tried to defend Israel by saying the people are just fighting back against Hamas. But when I said Hamas are only using violent actions to stop their country from being ethnically cleansed, she immediately backed down, and said she didn't know enough info at the moment. I said that was good, and that she should educate herself on the matter more.

And that's when I realized why my mom (along with many other people) chose the Zionist side - she didn't know the full scope of the event. She only thought about the Hamas and violence, not Palestine and it's people.

Knowing that plenty of people are also only thinking about this small part of a much larger matter, just like my mother, really terrifies me. I urge everyone to learn more about what's going on. This isn't a conflict or a war. It's a genocide on Palestine from Israel. Please learn more about the two countries histories, along with other genocides and ethnic cleanings that have happened, both old and recent.

Please be like my mom. Don't bury your head in the sand, acknowledge that you don't know enough, and do better.
