I was petting and hugging Mimi today and noticed that his ears smelt “off” for lack of a better term. I’m a weirdo who likes to smell my bunnies and knows how they normally smell, so this little change prompted me to check his ears.

Long story short, Mimi didn’t like the eardrop ointment too much, but it should prevent gunk and stuff from accumulating since we caught it so early. 4/16/2021

For those who don’t know or are new here, Speedwagon has a bit of a curve in his spine which affects one of his back legs a little. Sometimes, poop gets stuck on his butt and I had to shave some off today.

I nearly cried when I checked Facebook during a break at work today. Today marks 5 years since the bunnies entered my life, and it all started with Papa Shiro and Mama Mimi. Here’s their story for those who don’t know.

One of my friends’s family was raising meat rabbits and eventually, they were left with just two. However, by some stroke of luck, they decided to give the two to us and my family quickly ended up loving the bunnies so much that we decided the keep them as new members of the family.

Unfortunately, Mama Mimi passed a a few years ago and I miss her dearly. Papa Shiro is still doing his bunny thing though and we have plenty of love for the bunnies with us.
