I think it’s really funny that Gaster himself is monochrome black and white and all of his goner followers are all 100% grayscale he’s like if a sad beige mother was a man

Toriel and Gaster both did not get a chance to watch their respective two children (presumably in the latter case) grow up for one reason or another (childrens’ deaths, falling into the Core).
Both are known for their remarkable intelligence and how it served the Underground - Toriel as the brain and planner behind her and Asgore’s rulership, Gaster as the royal scientist and creator of the Core.
They both speak with excessive formality, and have an overarching sense of knowing what’s best for you; only ever doing the right thing in their mind - which actually just suits and serves their interests first and foremost, whether they’re cognizant of that or not.
Both spend a majority of their stories seemingly lost to time for a significant while; reduced to fables and whispers of younger monsters who have long since assumed them both to be gone, both hidden (or merely associated with? … or trapped?) away by a large, mysterious door that prevents them and others from entering or leaving; that serves as a physical and emotional divide away from their kind as well as a legend of which townspeople speculate on.

started thinking about an olddd old OC story again - I never settled on a real name for it and it's just been going by the placeholder 'Andromeowda' for like a decade... but its fun to revisit now and again.
this is Aquabijou (Aqua preferred though, thank you) she's the main protagonist of the story's first 'volume' (12 chapters total, split into 4 'volumes' that each shifts POV to center on a different main character), and she's very dear to me.

Oh a tag by @bogos-bint3d just reminded me
I headcanon this general hairstyle to be popular with monsters who have fur/hair, and/or human allies of monsters following the end of Undertale.
Chara, during their time in the underground, would tie their hair up in space buns to mimic horns, and kept the front bits longer to mimic goat ears during Dreemurr family royal events.
Post-UT Frisk, after starting as Papyrus’ intern of Human/Monster Ambassadorial relations, started doing horn-buns to resemble/represent their mom Toriel (also the Dreemurrs in general).

i destroyed the bond of friendship
and respect
between the only people left
who'd even look me in the eye
now I laugh and make a fortune
off the same ones that I tortured
and the world screams;
"Kiss me, Son of God"
