i listened to bob dylan’s street-legal along with robbie fulk’s reversion of the album, 16. one of the odd things about this dylan album is how little i approach it due to it’s over-the-top impression of latter day elvis...however, it was an absolute joy to spin this again and reacquaint myself for the fulks reversioning...which was so fantastic!! fulks embraces the larger than life vibe of the original album, along with the lyrics, and that’s about it. he created a brand new work that’s sometimes reminiscent of his “couples in trouble” album...definitely worth repeated listens. so fantastic!! seen here is a snippet of both versions of “true love tends to forget,” both of which are legit jams!! #vinylgram #bobdylan #streetlegal #robbiefulks #16 #nowspinning https://www.instagram.com/p/B5QVSFHngTi/?igshid=10pqzfcr775yt
