So I've finally hit the "Psylocke goes from a white woman to a Japanese woman" issue of X-Men and it's just as wack as you'd assume but something I didn't expect was that this issue is also where the iconic Psylocke outfit comes from.
You know the one, it probably popped into your head the second I said her name.
Okay what is up with Dazzler's skin tone this issue? Is this supposed to be like, a really deep tan because she lives in the Outback now so she's just constantly getting baked by the unrelenting Australian sun?
Crazy how the X-Men can be broadcast on TV all across the globe saving all of reality and you've still go mfs hunting mutants for sport and acting like they're animals.
I like how Inferno just has Scott getting on the X-Men's case for now being willing to kill if the need required it for the entire length of their team up and then ends with him blasting Sinister to fucking pieces.
Storm: I think we're gonna have to kill this guy, Scott.
All the shit with Sinister and his bullshit machinations, having his eyes on Scott and Jean for his fucked up eugenics experiment since they were kids, experimenting on Scott as a child while he was in the orphanage and making sure Alex got adopted but not Scott so he'd be better able to control him.
Literally all the shit with Maddie.
Basically it was just all around a great showing for Sinister and Goblin Queen was really fun to. Kind of a bit over the deep end what with the whole "sacrificing my infant son to merge earth and hell together into a single nightmare realm just to spite my shithead husband" thing but her just CONSTANTLY digging into Scott for ditching her the second Jean came back was great because she's just right. Like no lies detected there, Scott did just drop her and their son like a sack of rocks as soon as Jean was back in the picture. MAJOR dickhead move for Cyclops.
Honestly I think the whole Sinister storyline might be my favorite from this book so far, just a really good long running plot thread.
