It’s hard to catch the sun in winter but voilà !

It's difficult to put into words how I've been feeling lately, I guess it's because I don't really know. I don't know my feelings. I don't understand my thoughts. I don't recognise myself. I sit at my desk and I write my notes. I pop pomegranate seeds into my mouth like I'm in a mid-Western and they're toasted sunflower seeds. I twirl the pen in my mouth around like it's straw - a cliché I picked up from the films I watched. I feel the sun beating down on my back, even though it is not there. There is only longing in its place.

Winter Studying Challenge

7th January: Do you like the cold?

I think it can be refreshing and nice but I much prefer the feeling of coming in from the cold! I've been raking leaves in the garden this morning to get over what happened in Washington DC last night and now I'm moving onto my next essay. X Emily

07.31.21 | Lmao this basically sums up my summer. In other news I’ve been debating whether or not to resume my studytube and I must say, it’s tempting. Content-wise though I’m all over the place with ideas. Like I’d love to take you guys on my journey through finishing up with undergrad + LSAT and law school apps/decisions. Guess we’ll see what happens
