Dear Writers, Don’t Hold Back

This may seem like a no-brainer but if you have a story idea in mind, just write it.

A lot of the parts of my writing process are different than other writers. I think I complete my WIPs faster than my writer friends and that’s okay.

Write at your own pace. The important thing is, in the end you have to be satisfied with the result and nobody else. 

Don’t hold back because you’re afraid, write what you want. Heck, write like nobody’s reading. Don’t hold back because your story is different or your writing style isn’t the same as others.

Don’t try to copy other people’s writing process just to fit in. The way you do things is valid and your story matters.
