Oooh, I have a The Terror fic rec for this, it's a Charles Des Voeux/George Hodgson AU fic, melting under blue skies, by @borealopelta . It encapsulates that perfect frisson of meeting someone you just vibe with so gorgeously. I loved it when I first read it, and I loved it all over again when I re-read it just now to link it.

baby, you're a haunted house, a Band of Brothers Webgott fic by @cajunroe that has hold of my whole heart. It's a WHOLE whole world of absolute perfect AU delight (I've only just realised all three of these recs are AU, but whatever). Obviously the Lieb/Web interplay is pitch perfect in every way, but all the other characters in this are also gorgeous and themselves. It's exactly what an AU should be.
