This started out a lot shorter than it eventually became.

I got the idea for this comic when a Lalafell flew by me on the goobbue mount and it made me remember how my friend always screamed whenever I used my goobbue mount to sneeze on him. It was all too easy to imagine Emet-Selch having a similar reaction to a goobbue's unfortunate defense mechanism--and even easier to figure out who might have created something like that.

1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?

2. If you had to give up your keyboard and write your stories exclusively by hand, could you do it? If you already write everything by hand, a) are you a wizard and b) pen or pencil?

3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?

4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?

15. What’s the most important thing you’ve learned when it comes to RPing ships?

To make a habit of checking in with others. Whether to ensure everyone is still enjoying the story and having a good time or to remind people that I am not my characters and they aren't me, it's good to check in; this can help reinforce boundaries on both sides and prevent lines from getting blurred.

Ships can be fun to write, but not when your co-captain tries to steer them off the page and into the real world.

15. What’s the most important thing you’ve learned when it comes to RPing ships?

That even though losing a good story and a possible friendship sucks harder than a Hoover vac, it's better to cut the string than try to hold on when things start going south. And for me, things go south when people get weird and possessive over my time, my characters, and/or me myself. I've encountered too many instances of this and trying to hang on in the hopes that things will get better once this behaviour starts always ends with losing the story and the friendship anyway. Might as well not drag it out.

This guy. Why? Because he has four arms, several different masks, and a more monstrous form besides. Does he also have hands? Yes, but I didn't feel like drawing them.

Don't you ever laugh when bad luck rolls by or you might be the next to cry.

Alternate title: Emet-Selch visits Azem and immediately regrets the other day when he laughed at Lahabrea who spilled hot coffee on himself and Fandaniel who tripped over his own robes while rushing to the podium to make a presentation he was late for.
