Though this is oil on canvas I believe i cant take alot of the ideology form his works and apply it into photomontage pieces.

Mediums: Oil Canvas What I like strongly about Ruslans work, is although it is Oil on Canvas - something far from my skill set - he uses his medium to propose some very strong ideas. Through common imagery and controversial, taboo ideas. His oil on canvas is almost surrealism and close to replicating that of a photo.  However he chooses to explore ideas of drug use, weapons, gangs, death and tattoos aswell as using idea of security footage to capture human character.  Recreating these images or taking taboo topics is something I have always been drawn to because of the little dialogue and conversation had around such topics.
