Kissing | HCs

Arthur absolutely loved the idea of kissing you, so much so he would often daydream about it before you even knew about his feelings for you.

He used to be nervous about it, afraid he’d be bad at it due to lack of practice. In his dreams, he started the kisses confidently. In real life, he needed several weeks into your relationship before he felt brave enough to try.

After he realized you’d never reject him, he felt more comfortable to start the kisses more frequently until it became a habit.

Sometimes the only thing that got him through the day was knowing he would be with you, that he would hug and kiss you.

He thought kissing was underrated. It felt so good to feel the love you had for each other flowing between you. He couldn’t tell where he ended and where you began.

It was also a way for him to express his love and affection for you without words.

He liked to kiss your forehead to show he would always protect you, take care of you. That you were his baby. You remembered that whenever you had to do something you were anxious or scared about.

It made him happy when you kissed him on the cheek. He thought it was adorable. You’d cup your hands around his face and the warmth and tenderness of it made him feel at home, no matter where you were.

When he was sad or tired, you’d tuck a strand of hair behind his ear and kiss him gently on the lips. Then you kissed his chin, his forehead, each one of his eyelids, his cheeks and his nose. It never failed to cheer him up a little or at least make him smile.

When he cooked, you hugged him from behind and kissed his shoulder. When you cooked, he kissed the back of your head. He loved doing that because it gave him the opportunity to smell your hair.

When you wore shorts, he always took the opportunity to place soft kisses on your legs. It made you appreciate them more, hide them less.

When you cuddled on the couch in the morning, he would brush his nose and lips on yours before starting a deep, long kiss.  

When he randomly danced with you in the living room, he’d always theatrically lean over to kiss you by the end of the song.

He’d always kiss you good morning and good night, without fail. You couldn’t explain why it was so important to you, something that simple. What you didn’t know was that it was just as important to him.

If you were around other people and couldn’t properly kiss, you kissed his hand and he kissed yours back, looking at you like you shared a little secret no one else would ever know.

Besides kissing your lips, he also kissed your neck when you were about to leave home just to make you stay a little longer. You kept telling him you needed to go, but it was very difficult to resist and it took everything in you to leave.

When you said something funny, he couldn’t help but kiss you because of how cute you were. It was very spontaneous, so he often missed your lips and ended up kissing your nose or chin instead.

He kissed your scars, pimples, stretch marks and every place you were self-conscious about. You would shy away from it or even make a funny face, but you kept those moments in your memory like the most precious treasure.
