ATTENTION WEEEWOOO WEEEWOOO

Tipton Ministry (some kind of christian organisation) used Mark's photo for their "online predator education company".

This is unacceptable and disgusting, implying that he is a predator.

The photo used is heavily edited to look more dangerous so someone had to think about it and take their time to execute this idea. What's more, the usage of Mark in particular surely can't be coincidental, considering who he is.

The Facebook post has been taken down, however, there is still this billboard in Flint, Michigan.

We need to let Mark and his legal team know about it, so they can handle it properly, so Tumblr do your thing please (and don't do anything irrational).

I think you’ve DEFINITELY hit the nail on the head, especially with the house lore stuff. ISWM is basically taking a separate reality and (with the consequences of the paradox) having it cross up with and bleed into The House, making Engineer the one falling prey to the Entity and paralleling Actor, but not being him.

(Also…both house lore AND ego content? Seeing new people being influenced by it but also giving character moments to those we’ve come to know and love are both very rad ideas)

I don't think the "Damien side" of Dark is the calmer part of them.

I think that Damien does try to appeal to us in a "reasonable" way, but he's also full of pain, and anger, and righteous, fearsome indignation for the circumstances of his death.

I was thinking about DAMIEN the other day, and I was thinking about how there are implications about how Actor didn't script ISWM. As well as confirmation that Engineer Mark is Mark, but he's not Actor Mark. Which makes sense.

I don't think it's an entirely new theory when I say that ISWM could very much be like DAMIEN for the audience. Not like... exactly the same situation. But similar. Doreen being there is reason enough for me to think that "Dark" may have some unseen influence on that adventure.

And clearly, with Alu Minium dying (but not really) we're very much in the house still-- which also has to play some larger part in this that we're not seeing. Which like... Mark... Fuck the ego content. Gimme the house lore. Give me stories about other people in other universes and timelines who've fallen prey to it's hunger.

Anyway... I don't think there's Damien/Celine sides of Dark.

I think Dark is just what we've always called them and it stuck. Damien and Celine are their own people. Their own personalities. Their own people. The fact that they share a body doesn't erase that.
