hmmm my graphics update takeaway is the lighting and environments look stunning! but the models and such but it feels like when companies change their charming old logos to updated lifeless smooth corpo bs. idk. maybe i have to see it myself and certainly some races look much better than others, but yeah....im more on the "i dont really like how this looks like playdough" camp than excited for it LOL I mean dont get me wrong, i know they put a lot of work into it and some features absolutely needed updates like scales and hair, but the skin is just ....eh? idk lol T o T Too many charm points were lost but maybe they will fix them with player feedback! they're usually good about that stuff c:

I AM GOING TO LOSE IT my computer updated while I was asleep and sai was open so it fucked it up ???? and now the brushes I made to study with yesterday are gone. Just fucking gone. I made 4 of them and I was so happy and now they're just poof. I can't handle this - I was literally just slightly getting over losing my whole previous kit and now RIP AGAIN. what is happening ; ~ ;

#I was doodling some concept like La la la and went to change brushes and noticed they were all gone and just about died LOL #it has been a time for me guys idk what to do and why this keeps happening. I would move to CSP but it's so much and im old and i just love #sais simplicity

doing a study of Yuto Sano's art because i am obviously head over heels for it. Yuto Sano, Kazue Kato, and Kazuya Minekura are the best mangaka out there and you can't convince me otherwise LOL I wish I was a sliver as talented as these artists, but I can only continue to practice :( I still don't have any good texture brushes made so my style might change a bit from here on out - that's okay change can be good c: OH, this is my magical boy who still needs a name = v =;;;

lmao welp in my hubris i attempted to free up driver space since this computer is 8 years old and ended up messing up sai so I had to re-license it. this resulted in the loss of all of my brush settings...... luckily i haven't started lining any of my big commissions yet because I would have lost of that work Q v Q but now I dont even know where to begin because the specific brushes I had for painting /nouveau were ones I had made up.... Remember to periodically save your brush settings friends!

ACTUALLY EDIT sorry The gifmaker i use compresses the file too much and i can't fix it :( so I will be taking the time to learn how to animate in CSP instead before I reopen these so you can have the quality you deserve Q v Q Thank you so much for the interest tho! They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.
