Too Tired by @captainchrisfics: This piece is grounded in realistic, valid couple conflict, something that I will applaud every time I see it. Chris strikes me as someone who prides themselves in articulating how he feels, so the idea of him getting frustrated with his S/O not being as communicatively inclined seems legit to me. Not to mention, the writing is amazing!

Please don’t say you love me by @fairytelling: Every single one of @fairytelling’s Chris Evans pieces are LITERAL PERFECTION, and I highly recommend all of them, but I revisit this one the most because I’m a sucker for a dramatic breakup (only in my entertainment, though lol). It’s like reading a literal movie, and has definitely helped to to inform the way I write. Love, love, love it! 💕

Trying for No. 5 by @hlkwrites (NSFW): My reasons for loving this one is simple: If Chris Evans were my husband, I could see myself being seduce by him into having 5 children EASY lol! A perfect balance of sweet and steamy!

The Age of Love by @avaalons: @avaalons is another writer who all their pieces are just *chef’s kiss* literally the masterlist will have you set for like a good week or two! This one captures the limbo area of dating someone for a few months and is just absolutely endearing 💗

“I Don’t Think You’re Ready” by @blackwomanwriter: I love that @blackwomanwriter didn’t shy away from real concerns that I think would come up if a black woman were dating one of these über famous white men. This piece is honest, vulnerable, and raw in a way that I wasn’t expecting but honored to have read.

Kiss Me by @miyuhpapayuh: Objectively the most beautiful, poetic piece of smut I’ve ever read. Avoiding the redundancy often found in the genre, I am brought right into the story and held there until the erotic end. Nothing short of pure promiscuous perfection.

Hi babes I was hoping you knew of this fic series that I’m looking for. It’s a steve x reader fic. When Steve doesn’t return reader decides to go back in time to talk to him but she ends up in an alternate universe instead where she’s the one who sacrificed and not tony and she thinks she’s returned to her original timeline and they think she was sent by hydra or something so they lock her up but then everything slowly starts falling into place when she explains everything but I’m not sure if I finished it or not. Yes!!! Instead of ‘Tony was still right’ (considering they both definitely have good points/perspectives) I think a better way I could’ve phrased it would be “had an extremely valid and honestly really timely concern about the death/damage caused by a group he helped spearhead and therefore felt a moral responsibility for which I and I feel like a lot of people on my timeline at least partially overlooked before” lol. I usually stick to the movies since especially around the civil war storyline I fell off the comic wagon a bit (it’s been wayyy too long since I’ve even touched one tbh) so thanks for adding more information they left out of the mcu’s plot!! That kind of layered dynamic must definitely contribute to such an interesting story especially with the stakes being that much higher

I am not participating.

I was tagged to signal boost, which I did not do. I also asked the OP to remove my tag as I do not want people to mistakenly think I am on board with that decision. 

I believe that we need to be visible in order to remain relevant. I don’t believe taking new content away from readers is going to change anything. While I have certainly seen a change in the notes in my years on this site, I don’t believe taking my work away from the readers (especially the true, faithful, constant readers) for that is the right thing to do.

I’m going to keep doing what I do. I’m going to keep writing. I’m going to keep posting. I’m going to keep interacting with those that comment on my fics or send me asks. I don’t care if it’s 5 people or 500 people. I’m going to keep doing what I love because if it makes a difference to just ONE person, brightens ONE person’s day, makes ONE person’s life a little happier, that’s all I want. I don’t even need them to tell me about it. 

So yes, I will continue to post in June. What it will be or how much it will be is obviously, still TBD. I had thought about running a writing challenge in June, kind of a “flex your writing muscles” daily drabble thing, but I haven’t really made any solid plans for it, it was literally a passing thought. Who knows, maybe I still will.
