i have a bunch of collectibles on my shelves and my amongi keep squaring up with them. I try to hide them but they always find them and attempt to kick the shit out of them. Maybe they think they’re a living creature that is a threat to our safety/competition for my love? I dunno.

That might be the case. Amongi can easily mistake toys for living beings. I recommend not trying to hide the collectibles, but simply to store them out of reach. Also, your amongi may be bored with the tasks and toys that they have. Consider switching things up a bit to keep them occupied.

I have what could basically be described as a True vs False question.

I heard that red Imposters are way more common than red crewmates, but is this true?

a related question, are personalities connected to colors?

like, are similar colors more likely to have a similar personality?

Red Beans aren't inherently more likely to be impostors, but people who breed impostors have said that red is the most popular color for an impostor. So they breed more red impostors to deal with the demand.

Experts say that color has no bearing on an amongus's personality, but I'm not sure if I believe that. I think orange Bean behavior is a real thing. All the orange Beans I've had over the years were lovable himbos.

i found this plushie of a crewmate at gamestop, should i get it? i'm worried it'll confuse my crewmate, she can't really see that well

Amongi are known to grow attached to plushies that look like other Beans. I know I used to have one, and it confused Lucky. She got worried at feeding time because it wasn't "eating", so she tried putting food in its mouth.

So amongi are known to confuse toys for fellow Beans, regardless of how well they can see.

How do you care for Imposters? What would be gif enrichment/toys for them?

Being predatory animals, impostors have a strong hunting drive. Cat toys that look like mice, birds, etc. are a good choice for them. You can also look into getting them sets of children's wooden blocks. If you build small structures for them to "sabotage" by knocking down, they'll love it.

I have heard that Red is a more common color for Imposters than it is for Crewmates? Is this true, or are colors and subspecies not linked at all? I was wondering, since I have a red bean that I named Cherry, since I couldn’t think of anything else. He is really attached to me, and it’s pretty cute

It's a confirmation bias thing. There are no more red impostors than red crewmates, but people expect red Beans to be impostors. So they scrutinize red Beans extra hard, looking for sus behavior.

Are amongi attracted to bright colors like babies are? Whenever I’m watching tv and a show like MLP or something comes on, my crewmate is enamored with the screen and can’t take their visor off it.

Yes, they are. They don't like very bold colors, like neons, but high constrasting colors catch their interest. Beans enjoy watching television, but its more for the colors, motion, and shapes. They can recognize actions onscreen (which is why they get so excited when they see other Beans on TV) but don't quite have the intelligence to understand the actual plot of a show.

This isn't unheard of in areas with stray amongi. Occasionally, they will go into unsecured areas to look for food or amusement. Fortunately, it's easy to lure them out with a treat or a fun new toy. To keep them from sneaking into your workplace, make sure all windows, vents, and other exits are secured, and keep food containers shut tightly.

I know the amongus babies trend is probably dead but my little sister just made a hoard of amongus out of clay and they are adorable. She is making little tasks and an emergency button for them too. She is adding enrichment to their enclosure (the clay box)
