currently watching: i’ve been rewatching adventure time. i grew up watching the show and it feels so nostalgic rewatching it, especially the early episodes. i finished watching fionna and cake a few weeks ago (such a beautiful show.) and i felt like rewatching adventure time.

currently reading: right now im re-reading “hani and ishu’s guide to fake dating” by adiba jaiagirdar. oh my god, i can not even express all my love for this book. it is a coming of age, queen romance between two brown girls. as a queer indian, it warms my heart to see wlw representation between two south asian girls. it is my favorite book and i cannot stop recommending this book!

however, i am re-reading earning the okay by alia_junebug. it’s an au from the mcu, pretty much civil war does not happen along with all the events after. peter parker ends up getting a stark industries internship and bonds with tony. it’s a classic spiderson and irondad fic. super good and super angsty. one of my fav fics tbh

currently obsessing: always obsessing for yja and dc in general lmao. however, loving (and missing) old mcu. also re-listening to taylor swift to get ready for 1989 tv!! making a bunch of character playlist lmao with her songs in them!

Last song: I'm listening to What Else Can I Do? from Encanto sung by Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz on repeat. I just love Encanto's songs. The part when Mirabel sings to Isabel about her being perfect her whole life - and her voice changes from doleful to joy and happiness for her sister? MMMMHMMMM 👌TEARS ME UP.

Currently watching: Not... anything really. I haven't been reading novels or watching TV shows or movies lately. Gosh, school is so consuming, especially with the extracurriculars I've taken up.

But I remember watching Danny Phantom last. I got DVDs from the library and was watching it in our old laptop which had a DVD player. They dont make laptops like those anymore. And we dont have a DVD player for the TV. And that laptop broke. So idk where else to watch Danny Phantom :(

Currently reading: As i said, not really reading many novels atm. I'm reading fanfic! The last fanfic I read was mine XD More specifically Let Them Be Siblings. I wanted to check out how far along the series I was and then got sucked.

But the other last fanfic i read was... I'm Just a Kid (I Know That It's Not Fair) by StoriesAreMagic cuz they updated <3

The last novel I read? ...I can't recall. It was that long ago- NO WAIT! I picked up some novels from the library for my sisters and I sometimes read my sister's books. There's this one series I especially like. It's called 'Phoebe and her Unicorn', and it is good, I tell you. Very good. The jokes aren't like kid jokes. They speak something deeper.

dc fic recs

literally, no one asked this lmao. however, it's my blog and honestly, with summer starting, I have been getting back into my silly fangirl phase. many people on this app know how annoying I was in 2020 and when I was in middle school. thanks to the annoying fan phase starting those years. I might start becoming more active on this blog, we’ll see :) enjoy these fic recs though, been hyperfixating on dc lol. this is mostly for me and to ramble about incredible writers <3

5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home - motleyfam - god this fic is so iconic tbh. i know so many people have read this one and it is a classic however still such a good read. i love au’s in which tim joins the batfam early, and jason + tim’s relationship is so cute!

Simple Ideations And The Consequences That Come With - Nonsensicalwitheringrambles - “Aka, Tim Drake thinks Bruce Wayne and Batman are dating, and somehow gets adopted in the process.” this is the simple explanation of what this fic is about and it is 100% true. it is about fifteen chapters if you want something longer. it’s so good, had found family, hurt/comfort. what more can you want?

Keeping Up With The Waynes - Caicie - so fun! written in a reality tv show format. love jason and how his death was incorporated in the show (if you’ll read, you’ll understand lol.) highly rec!

precipitation of heart and head - sheikahs - this one is based in the yj animated universe. honestly, such a great fic tackling bart allen’s trauma which the show never dived into. incredibly heartbreaking and written from the perspective of people close to bart. people who want to help him, but do not know how. also, the ending is so bittersweet and made me cry. highly recommend!

Touchdown - dreamsandbread - @kidflashimpulse is such an amazing writer and has multiple amazing stories. this is one of my favs. it is centered around the outsiders and has the whole “team as family” vibes. super slice of life and such a good read.

Young, Gay, Totally Unjustified - Sohotthateveryonedied - my all-time favorite dc fic, even though it is a yj fic! will always recommend this one! it is a chat-fic, however, it is written so well. super fun and funny. it is an ongoing series. more fluffy in the first one, and a little more angsty in the second. my comfort fic tbh and please read this one! @sohotthateveryonedied page is a treasure trove of batfam fic so honestly check her out. she’s pretty cool!

anyway, might do a part two! i have so many more dc fics to recommend :)

Cobra Kai Headcannons

because i’m on a brainrot rn

miguel and sam are literally never affectionate in public/the farthest they’ll go is hand-holding. no one ever assumes they’re dating because they act like they hardly know each other when not alone

robby and miguel always argue about the other stealing something from them whether it is an object or a literal person

hawk and robby are very fast friends because neither of them sleep so they keep each other company at ungodly hours (both are also swifties and will spend hours analyzing her songs)

demtetri loves lizards

demetri still orders food for hawk and has since they were kids

hawk and miguel will tell each other everything like if someone tells one a secret the other will know

hawk and miguel have each other saved as bff with a bunch of emojis because they think its funny

anthony saw robby as an older brother when he lived with them and still dose

moon and robby will get high together while demetri rambles for hours about anything

johnny has a soft spot for demetri out of all the guys and will laugh at all his dumb jokes

tory sends random tweets to miguel at two in the morning

sam showed robby her fav movies and now he’s obsessed

robby, miguel, demetri, and hawk have a game night once a week (sometimes the girls will join)

yasmine, moon, sam, and now tory have girls night once a week tory doesn't want to admit it but she loves girls night

sam cooked miguel and hawk breakfast and they love it sm

hawk will infodump to sam and she’ll listen 100% but doesn't understand half of it (their lowkey besties)

moon and demetri are besties

sam has a love/hate relationship with her birthday (miguel knows it and bought her a teddy bear to help with her anxiety and sam loves it)

sam did anthony makeup one time and it looked so good

hawk is carmen’s fav (they’ll gossip in the kitchen whenever hawk is over)

daniel and johnny will argue about whose kids are better from both dojos

however, they both will go shopping every sunday (they became besties)

the moms will go out every friday night and anthony will tag along

tory secretly loves sam’s hugs even though she’ll pretend to hate it

demetri and sam will cook together

miguel called johnny dad by accident and johnny almost cried

the whole gang has a joint playlist and everyone will add songs and it all clashes

the whole dojo will have movie nights once a month (daniel and johnny say it is good for team bonding outside of karate)

anyway, love them so much and they are lowkey found family <3

The Bird Fam

Spoilers for The Owl House Season 2 episode Six

So I finally got caught up with season two of The Owl House and just finished getting caught up. I just have to stay IT IS AMAZING!!! Props to Dana and the Crew for making every episode an absolute banger so far. The characters, plot, lore, and of course the best found family. Anyway this is mostly Hunter centric headcannons but of course The Owl House fam is now being called The Bird Fam, so yea this is just Hunter getting adopted by Eda.

At first after the the recents events, Hunter was practicing in a secluded area in the forest with his new staff. He stumbles upon Luz who was looking for some stuff for Eda, and the two immediately have their staffs pointed at each other (well Luz staff is more of her log)

After explanations they both started talking and practice magic together. It became a once a week thing where they meet up in the forest to practice and talk

So turns out Belos finds out because he can see all and lashes out at Hunter. Hunter protects his palismen before Belos destroys it.

Hunter finally realized how the Emperors Coven sucks and decides to run away. Of course, Belos (not knowing that Hunter knows Luz) sends out a bounty even higher than Eda for Hunter so Belos can kill him for his disloyalty.

For a while, Hunter was hiding in a cave in the forest near The Owl House. Eventually Luz finds out about the bounty and finds Hunter in a cave injured.

Luz takes him to The Owl House and tells Eda and King that the boy’s name was Hunter and he was having family issues and needs a place to stay.

Eda quickly agrees, saying that the poor kid was physically and mentally not okay. Hunter really looked like he needed sleep so he just crashes on the couch and instantly fell asleep. Of course many shenanigans happen with “The Bird Fam.”

Luz and Hunter keep making such bad cover stories if anyone questions his past. When Guz, Willow, and Amity visit it’s so chaotic since he’s never been around other kids besides Luz.

Of course when their are wanted posters of The Golden Guard, no one pays attention to Hunter because no one knows who The Golden Guard is. Eda tries to find who he is because according to her “The Golden Guard is a pretentious asshole who can get us a lot of money.” Hunter and Luz try so hard to cover up any clues that Hunter is the Golden Guard.

Hunter and Luz act like siblings so much. The constant bickering and childish behavior makes Eda laugh so hard. It gets more chaotic when King gets mixed up with the siblings squabbles.

At first, King dose not like Hunter because he seems suspicious but throughout time he’s grown to love him.

Hooty freaks out Hunter

Hunter learns glyphs from Luz and is fascinated by the magic. Both kids will spend hours studying and making new glyph combos.

Hunter reminds Eda so much of herself when she was his age because they were both snarky teen prodigies. Eda and Hunter cause so much chaos and their was a whole week of prank wars between Eda and Hunter vs Luz and King.

He and Eda will go out into town and prank the guards of the Emperors Coven when their in town.

Their will be times where Hunter is so confused about the whole family dynamic because he’s not used to it. When Luz failed a task or two for Eda, she never lashes out on the girl or says “This is what I get after I took you in.” Eda’s not even disappointed, they just hug it out. Eda never makes sure the kids try to see her curse and never purposely tries to harm any of them as the Owl Beast. Luz will go on and on about her interest about magic. Eda nor King will shut her down and instead she listens because they care. The two will try to make Luz and even Hunter happy.

Hunter has flinched several times in front of Eda and she hopes no one has hurt this poor boy severely. Anytime Hunter goes on about wild magic, everyone always listens. Realizing what he just did, then Hunter will apologize so much.

Their will be times where Hunter will wake up from nightmares and Eda who was already up early, heres muffled crying. When Eda sees Hunter with his hand covering his mouth so his crying is not heard. He notices her and starts apologizing if he woke her up. Eda just gives Hunter a hug because the Titan knows this kid needs one.

When Lilith comes to visit, everyone is ecstatic to see her. When Lilith meets Hunter for the first time, he sounded very familiar but didn’t want to say anything because he’s already bonded with the family. Once Lilith find out he’s the Golden Guard, his identity is reveled and they knew Luz knew who he was the whole time

Eda is not mad at both of them but instead mad at Belos because it explains Hunter’s actions.

Lilith and Hunter don’t get along at first but over time grew fond of each other. They also geek over all there books.

Luz introduced him to the Auraza books and he loved them. He was also introduced to Amity and was Luz’s wingman

After Belos defeat, Hunter officially is Eda’s kid and part of “The Bird Fam”.

Modern Stranger Things AU

HEY guys! So this is a modern Stranger Things AU where it takes place in the mid 2000s to early 2020s. For convinces, Covid still existed from March of 2020 to late September of 2021. There was still the first lockdown and by mid-2020 people still went out but not too crazy parties or without a mask. So The Party still hang out around this time but with masks. For the 2020 to 2021 school year, The Party was in person at their school because allows hybrid learning, also they are the class of 2023. In parentheses, I will put which year the headcanon took place.

So their hairstyles would be the same as the actor who plays them. Like Mike would have the curls grown out and Will would not have a bowl cut. El would have a shoulder-length haircut while Max would have a curled longer hairstyle. Lucas would have his hair more grown out and Dustin’s curls would be more grown out. So imagine their actor’s hairstyle on them. (2019-2023)

Mike would have a more grunge kinda style. He would be kinda emo but not really an e-boy. Mike also wears beanies, I don’t take criticism. Lucas would lowkey keep up with trends. He would wear a lot of denim jackets or hoodies and shirts. Dustin would wear a bunch of graphic tees with comic book references or have a minimalistic style. He would wear a NASA shirt. (2018-2023)

Will would have a soft boy style. He would wear a lot more colorful clothes. Max would have a mix of a skater style like wearing hoodies and flannels with a mix of a more colorful and bright style. El would have such soft style, very pastel and bright. With a mix of indie. (2018-2023)

I know this contrasts with Mike being a little emo but when they were picking clubs and teams they want to join for high school, Lucas made a joke saying that he should join theater because he “has a flair for dramatics”. So he joined and he ended up really liking it. He did thespians and the shows and was a pretty good actor. He was a little sad when the show got canceled due to Covid. (2019-2023)

Lucas joined football because he’s pretty athletic and was pretty good. He doesn’t hang out with the jocks because he likes his friends. Will joined the art club and photography club (he would be lowkey into it because of Johnathan). He also did book club so he can be a little less shy. Dustin is such a history buff and did a history club. He also did improv with Mike and they had a lot of fun and bonded. Dustin also did robotics because he is a techie. (2019-2023)

El did art and book club with Will because she thought it would be fun. Max surprisingly did debate because she’s good at arguing. She did good at some competitions and bad at others but hey that debate. She also did track. (2019-2023)

All of these guys are so supportive of each other. Like they go to all Lucas’s games and Mike’s shows and try to go to Max’s competitions and track meets. Hawkins High showcased an art show and Mike, Max, Lucas, and Dustin went to the show. (2019-2023)

Max steals Lucas’s football jacket and his hoodies. (2021-2023)

Her full name is Jane Eleanor Ives but she goes by El for short. (2015-2023)

Over quarantine, Mike dyed his hair purple while El facetime him. (2020)

El and Will ended up creating a scheme to get Hopper and Joyce together (2021)

The group had weekly zoom calls during quarantine and met up once the lockdown was over (2020-2021)

Once Mike got his license, he took his family van and picked up his friends. Every morning they will go to school together, pick up Starbucks, and someone will fight over the aux cord. (2021-2023)

For their first date, Mike took El on a picnic and went stargazing after (2019)

Lucas and Max didn’t end up together until junior year when Max finally asked him out because he was scared too (2021)

They still are called the Party because when they were going through the Wheeler’s basement, they saw Ted’s old DnD game. They played it as kids and sometimes still do. They call themselves the Party and still had all the different roles. (2014)

Fluffy PJO Headcanons

Hey y’all, I know it’s been a while and I explained my break in my last post. These are some sweet PJO headcanons cause you guys deserve some. On a side note, Jason is not dead.

The Demigod Squad (credits to @helpimobsessedwithpercyjackson) consist of the seven + Reyna, Nico, Thalia, Grover, Will, Rachel, and Calypso

The OG trio have a weekly game night between quests

Piper and Percy like to go skating together and paint their nails together. They also like to pull pranks on Annabeth and Jason

On the contrary, Jason and Annabeth like to discuss classical books together. They both like to geek out on their favorite characters and love Star Wars

Jason is a book nerd

Frank and Hazel love to bake together and bake treats to send to their friends

Reyna and Nico are very competitive when they play video games together

When Estelle was older, Nico taught her Mythomagic

The Demigod Squad sends Sally mother’s day cards

Anytime one of Franks friends is stressed, he’ll turn into a cat to snuggle with them

Frank teaches a meditation class at CJ

Hazel makes necklaces for her friends with a jewel that reminds her of them

Calypso made flower crowns for her friends with their favorite flower crowns

Cal, Rachel, and Grover are pretty close for the fact that their not demigods

Calypso joined the Lost Trio Hero so now their the Lost Hero Crew

Jason and Piper make cheesy videos with each other

Jason cries at the end of Disney movies while he watches them with Piper

Leo and Piper have recreated the Harry and Hermione dance scene in The Deathly Hallows movie

Artemis has thought of the Hunters as siblings or even kids

Apollo visits his kids once a week at camp

The Aphrodite kids have bets on their ships and couples

Apollo kids will be up at 3:00 am singing their hearts out while Will is telling them to be quiet

Nico has a soft spot for the Apollo kids

Athena cabin will have nights where they make silly presentations and debate on silly things

Aries kids are very protective of each other

Demeter kids are very good at baking

Leo and Piper are obsessed with Marvel movies and did a marathon with Jason and Calypso because they have never watched them

Rachel teaches an art class in camp

The girls have monthly sleepovers

The Demigod Squad goes on road trips together and does fun things like going to Disney and a carnival

Y’all can we talk about all the shit these kids went through

Hawk was manipulated by an ADULT

Sam is literally traumatized, has PTSD, panic attacks and feels guilty that Miguel got hurt.

Tory has a sick mother, takes care of her little brother and mom and got sexually harassed by an adult.

Demitri was severely bullied

Miguel was about to DIE after falling off the balcony and almost lost the ability to use his legs.
