I don't know Harry very well to be honest, they're definitely both brave and sharp of tongue, but Harry seems much more fair and kind than James does.

What do you think of "the prank"? I'm just curious, since I saw you stating that it's very wrongly represented in fanfiction. I'd like to see your opinion on it

I just don't think it was a big deal for the Marauders. James certainly wouldn't be mad at Sirius, and Remus even less so, he'd be more likely to blame himself rather than Sirius. In the fandom, the Prank is just used to add drama to the Marauders' relationship and "to fix" Sirius so that he can go around apologising to Remus and realising his love for him afterwards

In canon, the Prank is a very interesting detail that shows the real dynamic between them all and shows Sirius's character even more, but the fandom can't accept the fact that neither the Marauders nor the WW thought it was something so dramatic. The only one who worried about the Prank was Snape
