Cal pulled his and Amy’s suitcase into the University dorms where the summer program was being held “Thank you.”

He smiled slightly “No problem Amy”

He laughed slightly as Ethan struggled to pull his suitcase into the dorms “You could have helped me!”

“Sorry Nibbles. I’ve only got two hands.”

“She has to. But hers are empty!”

“Nibbles! For Christ’s sake. I was helping her with hers. You really think she’d be able to help you? Ethan the odds are your suitcase is heavier than both of ours combined!”

Ethan rolled his eyes as Amy laughed. Someone else was coming through the door now. “Alright lads. What’s the craic? I’m Will.”

Cal and Ethan looked confused

“Hi Will. We’re all good. I’m Amy. These are my brothers Cal and Ethan. It’s nice to meet you.”

“Nice to meet you too. Where are yis all from?”

“We’re from Holby. You? Is that a Dublin accent I hear?”

“It is! How’d ye catch it?”

“I’m trying to learn so..”

“Oh Ace! How far are you? Maybe I can help.”

“Haigh! Amelia is ainm dom. ba bhreá liom sin” she reintroduced herself.

(“Hi! My name is Amelia. i'd love that”)

Cal looked between them “Uh… what?”

“Oh I was just telling him that I’m learning and I *think* he said that my speech is good and that he can help me improve?”

“Very good! That’s exactly what I said!”

“Oh my God! You are such a nerd!” Cal teased

“You love me.”

“Your my sister, I have to”

Ethan rolled his eyes and stalked off

“Alright then.. was it something I said?” Will asked

“Nah it’s just Ethan.. He’s.. A bit.. You’ll get used to it… we did.” Amy said

Cal laughed softly “Just about.”

“Ah well. I’m glad I met you two anyway. Good friends is all you need for a good summer.” He smiled

actually yeah this is true! Didn't think of this but why would she be mad when she's already moved on too

I thought it was weird for Jodie to be in earshot of Teddy and the woman but completely ignore what he had said and act like she was upset that he had 'moved on' especially when earlier she said she had been with a couple of blokes since him.

I know Stevie was probably wondering why Dylan suddenly brought up him being autistic, the way he was asking her ‘but what if that focus is a sign im on the spectrum?’ Is he so worried that everyone else secretly thinks the same as Patrick, hence why he didn’t mention the way Patrick spoke to him and where all this is coming from. Patrick’s words are really stuck in his head : (

Wow I really hope that they weren’t trying to imply that it had never occurred to Dylan that he was autistic in that final scene with Stevie because that’s just insane.

There’s been numerous instances, references and comments by characters including Dylan himself to him being on the spectrum.

Idk I hope it was just worded a bit unclearly because Dylan ‘discovering’ he has Autism because of Patrick is just not right lol.

Keep seeing people say they hope Teddy and Jodie can work what happened last week out and get back together and I really don’t. Of course I want them to work it out because I need people to be nice to Teddy but I don’t think they should get back together! I don’t think that would be healthy for them and definitely not for Teddy, it would very much make their relationship a part of Teddy’s patten of forgiving people and taking people back when it isn’t good for him.

I guess it’s probably that I’m a very long-term Teddy/Paige hater (I think if you look back to my posts all the way back in October, I was talking about how much I hate them even when the teaser trailer came out then). So, probably, I just don’t want them to get back together because I never wanted them together, but I really don’t think they could return to having a healthy romantic relationship after last week.

Thing is, I would honestly enjoy them being friends. They are the hospital nepo-babies, even if Jodie’s source of nepotism has run off with her kidney. And I do think they have a pretty interesting dynamic, I get what the writers were going for with them, just… not romantically.

One thing I've been thinking about a lot is how nice it would be to have a scene of Jacob being supportive and comforting to Teddy.

It would be nice to have more scenes between Teddy and Jacob in general, tbh. I don't know why they don't interact more when they literally work together. I wish Jacob could have more bonding moments with other paramedics beside Iain.

I really want to talk about yesterday’s episode properly because I don’t think I’ve made a proper episode post since Haunted but all I can actually think about is Teddy (and I’ve been feeling a bit ill).

Generally: I’m gonna fight Patrick (positive comment on the quality of writing) and I’m gonna fight Faith (negative comment on the quality of writing). Having Jan and Jacob together was nice. I enjoy Rash and Tariq’s dynamic (love me some family drama).

I’m preparing to start completely ignoring canon with Teddy and make up my own version of events that will actually make sense and deal with the pretty strong start they got off to last week. Also, I would appreciate if Iain would just stop being the way he is being.

I’ve realised I never posted about this so maybe people don’t know about it, MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE TEDDY STORYLINE: this is going to end up with Teddy joining a fight club (?????????). Milo Clarke did an interview with Metro last week and he mentioned it here:

Which is like… what? I found out about this over a week ago and I still find myself staring at the wall in confusion about it every couple of days. I think I get what they’re trying to do. Like, I think I know the angle they’re going for. BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE FOR TEDDY’S CHARACTER!! He would absolutely struggle after last week, so much, but I don’t think it makes any sense for his character or will work with the links that this has to his earlier storylines (those links ARE THERE) for it to be like this. That’s why I’m so annoyed about this storyline, knowing that it’s going that way means it doesn’t feel like they want it to be a story about Teddy (which it could be) as much as they want it to be a (sensationalist) story about SA.
