Half way there/ almost over with the pet and housesitting.

Tomorrow, Monday I'm leaving the pups for half the day and going into the office to do some work for half the day.

Tuesday full day of working from home and then Wednesday. I'll stay until 11am wfh, make sure the pups are good and then head to the office and call it good.

The pups are sweet and good, but they are 5. They are high energy. They are golden retrievers.

I love all dogs. I really do. But my personal preference is to smaller dogs. I also, like older dogs, who are laid back and chill.

Anyway, I'm ready to go home to see my old fella on Wednesday night. I miss Tomas.

My crazy co-worker, apparently she forgot her wallet at work yesterday and she comes over to my desk and goes, thanks for guarding my wallet and keeping it safe for me.

Like WTF crazy?

So I'm like nooo, you are an ADULT. I am NOT responsible for your belongings. If you forget your wallet. I didn't guard your wallet.

Don't count on my for keeping an eye on you stuff.

Pet sitting has been okay, the pups are sweet and Chet the kit kat is moody and I'm here for it but I'm sooooooooo ready to go home tomorrow and see my own babies and sleep in my own bed (you know what I mean?).

Also changing subjects.....

Hawaii is in a month... and it's starting to get more real. I booked the dinner cruise for one of the nights and the Luau night.

I made a loose literary for the trip.

May 23 - Travel time 8am - 12pm

1pm- 3pm Check into hotel / freshen up

4pm - 7pm Go explore and have dinner.

May 24 Hop on Hop off Trolley tour (day)

Night time Dinner Cruise.

May 25

May 26 Luau Night

May 27 Travel home 6pm - 11pm

Work has been very chaotic lately. A very close coworker/ friend experienced a family tragedy (it was all over the local news).

Anyway, I had been training to be her backup receptionist (in case she goes on vacation or is sick) so I trained a few times with her and once on the phones (with her there) and then this happened.

And I got thrown into it suddenly.

My heart hurts for her family.

Speaking of coworkers. Another coworker is away for a few days, so I've been at her house since Wednesday night, taking care of her pups and cat (and wfh - Thursday and today, someone else covered the reception desk since I'm covering for another coworker).

So I hosted another meet up last night and it seemed to go pretty well, but then this morning.. I get a comment from someone who says he was planning on attending, but was running late (event started at 6:30) he said he couldn't find parking when he got there around 7:20 nor could he find the group (I had a sign on table) he said it was loud there.

So my first hate comment as a Meet up organizer lol

Funn weekend. Nice weather. Long overdue sunshine 🌞

Saturday, did chores, cleaned , vacuum and washed my car. Also got ice coffee at Dutch Bros and went to the college with Tomas forva nice afternoon/ evening walk.

Today..Sunday Funday. St. Patrick's Day. Got my taxes done. ✔️

Went to McMenamins Edgefield, met up with two of my coworkers for a day of Funn and Stamping. Edgefield is 10 stamps total and we did it!! Completed a page and got a prize.

We made plans for April 6th weekend (since I'll be their temporary neighbor, house / dog sitting for another coworker) Anyway we are all going to Kalama for that stamping adventure.

Also we plan to to a day trip to Eugene one day too.

Besides all this, another coworker (one of my friends from today) in July she's going on vacation and I'm already filling in for her at work, we'll she asked if id be willing to stay at her house too, to house/pet sit.

So interesting times ahead (besides my regular job)..

- Meet ups planned and needing to plan.

- McMenamins Funn adventures

- Pet Sitting gigs

- Vacations (Hawaii in May and somewhere exciting in September!!)

- Concerts (Going to see Blondie in August) And I'm trying to decide if I want to see Neon Trees and 311 in August.

I haven't talked about things lately...

So here is a breakdown.

1. Arizona was good (minus missing my connecting flight in Vegas due to Frontier's negligence). I tried to change my rental car and get one in Vegas and just drive to Phoenix but that didn't work, so.i ended up spending the night in Vegas and of course made new friends so I guess it worked out (I mean in did shorten my already short trip).

2. It was soooooo good seeing my beautiful cousin. Also, Arizona is so sunny. I loved the sunshine 🌞

3. No tinder action. Because guys are ridiculous. I'm basically a born again Virgin.

4. Back to work and drama.

5. Hanging out with new friends I've been making through my meet up groups and McMenamins Funn groups.

6. Pet and dog sitting for two separate weekends in April, so kind of preparing for that.

7. Also planning for my next vacation in May to Hawaii, sooooo excited for it! 🌴

8. I'm going to start volunteering at the local county dog shelter soon, I have volunteer orientation at the end of the month, and then after orientation I plan to try to commit to at least 4 hours a month (dog/ potty walking) and kennel cleaning.

9. My new migraine medication seems to be helping (when i take it).

10. I've pretty much stopped using tinder and fb dating, I had been tinder gold for like 2 + years but I'm over everything. Maybe I'll meet someone in the wild? Or maybe I'll just continue to be alone forever.

Of course like right before a vacation, I'm feeling sick ish, nothing major, just feeling congested. Also my effing period showed up today. So I feel kind of horrible.

But if this all can just pass by Friday, I'll be in 80 degree Arizona and sunshine and wearing a sundress(and working on a tan).

Also, I changed my Tinder location to the area of AZ I'm going to and started talking to some guy named Matt, who seems legit and I might meet up with.

My hike yesterday was in the rain. I also started taking a new medication the other day, so I'm not sure if it's symptoms from the new medication but I feel not so great anddd of course this is a busy week and I have so much stuff to do.

This weekend has been good.

Friday night was low key, stayed home (my tummy was hurting super bad)

Saturday enjoyed the sunshine 🌞 and ran errands.

Went to dinner at the food carts, had Tacos and a margarita, after that, ended up at a speakeasy for a drink and then finally at the bar I was hosting a meet up at, a karaoke meet up...it was super fun, some really good karaoke singers also two of my meet up people sang and so did I.

The bar I went to, I had gone there before with a date (who did karaoke).

Today was another meet up(not one hosted by me). It was a hike and a pretty good hike at that.

This is going to be a busy week, with work, meetings, a dentist appointment, and off to Arizona on Friday.

Next Friday night I'll be in Arizona!! I'm excited to explore a new place. I'm slightly nervous about seeing my cousin and her family.

She's always been so perfect. Looks perfect. She used to be a professional cheerleader. She's very health conscious. And her husband (who I've never met but see on her social media) is an athlete and personal trainer.

So yeah, slightly nervous about that part, but overall excited.

Tomorrow is D- day. Do I defriend Melania? My former really good friend. I like to defriend someone on their birthday(my parting gift). We have mutual friends, so I'm probably going to have to defriend them as well. :/
