So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

the humble "like" is oft mocked despite what it does for us. "like, three people" is a vastly different statement from "three people". where do trans women get clothes that actually fit us im suffering. so much of my wardrobe makes me uncomfortable but it is Such a task for my adhd ass. Where can I order like. Underwear that doesnt make me feel gross. Cute socks that don't max out at size 9. Not even getting into like, tops other than t-shirts. It really feels insurmountable to me when there are so many different components I gotta account for. I have some pants that I feel comfy in and I treasure them but it's really not much. and I'm broke af also.

one thing that really interests me is the idea of singing as an act of radical defiance and acceptance. You have the examples in media (ie the hanging tree in thg), but I've also read of the nuns in Nagasaki who, while lying in unimaginable pain in the atomic wreckage, died singing. I just read of three men who died in a concentration camp in WWII singing the Canticle of the Sun by St Francis of Assisi. You see it in the Magnificat (although perhaps not technically singing), and you see in it Of Gods and Men. I know these are mostly religious examples, but it's something that stuck with me because beauty, in being inherently dignified, can also be inherently defiant

These clauses are underhanded ways that corporations seek to deprive you of your right to participate in class-action lawsuits and your right to a jury trial. (This does only apply to us users ,other people still spread the word though )
