This photo was taken at Hastings Point - Australia. Looking up at the sky from the top of the bluff, there was a lighthouse in the distance that created a glow on the horizon

I call this one... Orange Butt Ants
Can someone please tell me what these creepy little insects that I found in my garden today are called?

It’s been a few days since I’ve uploaded something. Here's a photo from a rather unsuccessful photography night due to the full moon

The colours I got from this rainforest were amazing, spots of bright orange among the lush green. A great day for a some macro!

My very first attempt at Astrophotography. Its not terribly interesting due to lack of subject, but for my first go ever I’m stoked. It was taken up at Tamborine Mountain on the Gold Coast.

Ok. So my friend Dom and I decided to do a “Nature Walk” today - On the Gold Coast believe it or not we are spoiled for choice when it comes to rainforests - It took about 45 minutes along this crazy thin road, but worth it.
Halfway down the 3km hike we came across a massive rock face with water running the whole way down. The rock was a dark red/brown with this amazing vegetation growing off it, was definitely my favourite part of todays nature walk.
I honestly wanted to just spend my entire day just laying there surrounded in the relaxing sound and smell of rainforest, being gently sprayed with the falling water when the wind blows hard enough.
Advice for the day: Don’t underestimate the little things in life, appreciate everything.
