Been a while since I shared anything with the Noxia, which is a free to use open species I made (with lots of help from my friend @dookins ) and I felt like making a neon/blacklight fursona. Standard Noxia tend to be more earth-toned with subtler pops of bioluminescence, but I encourage people to have fun with it. I'd say the only hard species standards are the orb at the end of the tail (other shapes can be used, but soft, rounded edges are encouraged), mushrooms that sprout from their fur and mane. Their eyes are also most typically shut since they're an underground species but this particular Noxia was designed with a friend in mind and the headbase they use so we're opting for a partially open look.

Not getting paid this week.

I don't even know where to begin, I have a new job. I don't have a paycheck yet. If I'm not being terminated for being 10 minutes late to work on my 3rd day, I will get paid next week. However I need money to pay off a debt in my paypal and if I'm still on the schedule, I need money to pay for rides to work and gas to get to work.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

I really love this version of the song and I just really wanted to do a lyric comic to it for Cult of the Lamb. I'm pretty happy that I made it through this entire project as I tend to falter midway through these kinds of things and they never get finished. Apologies for the faint watermark - I attempted to run this through Glaze before posting it and, while I knew there'd be artifacts, I didn't realize just how badly it would affect the transparency and blur of certain panels and it....looked really bad. So I opted to put a faint watermark over each panel as low as I could make it.

Will blowing up my blog/sideblogs fix anything? No, probably not. I'm aware it's a fairly useless/petty act of protest in the grand scheme of things. I'm aware that I'm incredibly angry and frustrated and also dealing with a migraine on top of it and could very well be acting out without thinking things through clearly, so it largely depends on whether or not tumblr's export function even works (again, my main blog is OLD and I have a LOT of posts) and maybe how I'm feeling after I've calmed down some.

But god DAMN does this feel like a fucking kick in the face.

Given Tumblr's partnership with Midjourney and the fact they apparently only 'believe' they will honor opt-out requests as new ones come in, I may delete this blog. I've posted too much stuff over the years both here and on my main account to accurately go through and run all my stuff through those AI-scrubber programs that mess with trainers and I'm concerned about the possibilities of reblogs from non-opted-out blogs and how that will be handled.

I may come back under a different username, but that depends on what kind of additional protections I can put in place. I know my art isn't like, the most amazing out there, but I'm proud of it and I'm not comfortable with the chances of it being used like this. In fact, I'm pretty damn irate about it and Tumblr's history of being a functional website has made me trust this entire opt-out process even less.

I'll be exporting what I have (I've got 12 years of content all together and I'm not willing to lose all of it) but we'll see where it goes from here. IF I decide to go through with a fresh blog, I will post the new name before deleting this one.

Some close up shots of stuff on my table at C3 this year. I should have taken some shots sooner cause while some stuff has moved slowly, the 'Woke Up. Chose Violence.' was really popular and sold out from the table and even all the B-grade versions were picked from the 'As-Is' basket.
