For example, you might work from the beginning of the scene and from a point somewhere in the middle of the scene, switching back and forth between those points until they connect

like if the scene was "Character A is going to sneak into character B's house, and then character B is going to come home and find them, and then they are going to have an argument" you might start at the part where character B comes home, then skip back and write character A's initial sneaking in, and go back and forth a little bit, and then skip to the meat of the argument, and then connect the beginning

#all the time #I do an outline first which is rarely start to end #it’s more like here’s all the scenes #then I arrange them how I see fit and add random notes #and ‘oh or this happens’ notes #then I arrange those #then I write the rough draft which usuallt goes start to end but I’ll often stop when a #scene is getting hard and skip to the next scene #bc that’ll show me what the scene before needed that I couldn’t think of #then for the final polished draft I go start to finish

My sister and I have been working on making our own Futurama themed clue game for the past few weeks. I’m finally beyond the planning stage and am making cards during my lunch break at work 😂 She’s in charge of designing the board, I’m doing the cards. We’re gonna glue images of the weapons onto wooden coins and images of the suspects onto small wood cubes. Not the highest quality but the arts gonna be pretty.

Here’s the first 3 of our planned 30 suspects / weapons. The number of locations is yet to be determined. I’m very proud of my work
