You began to cry again and Diluc was angry

He offers you a room at the winery for the time being and waits for you to fall asleep

He slipped out of the room and went back to Mondstadt, to your family's home

Your father answered the door, a panicked expression across his face, worried sick at the thought of his child running away

He looked past and saw your fiancé(e) comfortinf your crying mother

He recognized them immediately

A regular at the tavern, a drunkard well known amongst the patrons and bartenders for beinga nuisance and avid menace

Constantly hitting on and feeling up other patrons, occasionally starting bar fights

But they were rich and always buying silence and paying off others as to not let their reputation be ruined

He looked back at your father and asked to speak with him privately

And once he agreed, Diluc relayed all the horrible things he'd witnessed your fiancé(e) do at the tavern

He told your father he'd heard of the marriage and came to offer to help catering but upon noticiting who it was you were marrying, he couldn't possibly in good conscious let that information go unknown!!

He had also reassured him of your safety

Your father is angry, and he steps inside, calling over your mother and telling her everything

Needless to say the wedding was called off immediately

And when Diluc had offered to escort you home the next day, your parents greeted you with relief

Extremely concerned when he sees you

However, he greets you with a smile as usually already planning ways to cheer you up in his head

When he asks and you clam up it's slightly jarring because normally you'd tell him that something was wrong

You not telling him makes him suspicious

But regardless he continues on with his plan to cheer you up

With the addition of no longer prying into your business

The last thing he wants is to make it worse on you

However, expect to see more Fatui lingering around

Because he will probably have someone keep an eye on you and your encounters with others

Especially when he notices your behaviour getting worse

Tbh you probably don't even need to tell him what happened

Because by the time you come to him in a desperate panic, he already knows

His colleagues had informed him of everything that happened that could have set you off

And this was ABSOLUTELY no exception

He's already making plans to handle it

He does want to hear the story from your point of view though because the Fatui he gets to watch you can only learn so much from a distance

And when you tell him, his blood boils

He comforts you though, treating you to lunch as a distraction while he plots his next move

After lunch he has to leave you

Harbinger business, he tells you

But he tells you he can meet up with you again later

While you go about anxiously running errands, he's quick to find your fiancé(e)

And he's also quick to threaten them into both leaving you alone and convincing your family that they no longer wish to wed you

Lately it's just hit me hard how emotionally neglectful my family is. And now I just feel really alone in the world and scared. I've been conditioned to think, I shouldn't stand up for myself (I still do, thankfully because of a rebellious spirit) and has left me with a complex saying sorry for everything. I have to explain what's going on to my siblings and they viciously mock me for it. One parent is complicit in this arrangement, and the other a boundary steamroller. I try to do something but I get proverbially shot everytime I try. I just feel so alone, hurt, forgotten, guilty and above all helpless.

Anyways maybe some comfort from Kaeya and/or Zhongli?

The whole teaching the Traveler how to paint scenario from the 2.3 event, but with you. And since you and Albedo are together it's a lot more intimate. Gathering all the supplies together to make your paints and sitting next to each other as you paint on the same canvas like the pottery scene from the movie Ghost. And also admiring the scenery togetger and using to cold of Dragonspine as an excuse to lean against him or hold his hand.

In one of Kazuha's voicelines, he mentions taking you back to his home town to admire the maple trees. One day he gets around to just that. He takes you specifically when the leaves are at their most vibrant. The winds are blowing and the leaves are falling like sakura petals in cheesy anime romance scenes. He finds a hill for you two to sit on and just watch. Like star gazing but not quite. The day is beautiful and the sky is clear. Electro crystalflies are fluttering about. Maybe there was a picnic involved or you're just admiring the beauty of the nature. Kazuha looks truly at home amongst the familiarity of the trees.

Scaramouche is a tough one imo. He's not exactly a good person outwardly and is kind of an asshole but I'd like to think that, since you're the only person he can tolerate if you're together, he'd have his moments. This one's kind of edgy, but since he was made from Raiden as a puppet, now that he has the gnosis and defected from the Fatui maybe he can become an archon? Or at least increase his abilities to match that of an archon. But the whole world domination, taking over the world with my S/O by my side kinda thing if that makes sense. An 'I want you to rule by my side as I take over the world' kinda deal

Xiao my beloved. Since the lantern rite is coming up again and in the trailer there are fireworks, admiring them either on the cliff on the outskirts of the Harbour on the roof one of the really tall buildings and watching the fire works with snacks from the Vendors. Of course you got him some almond tofu but using this opportunity to attempt to get him to try new snacks while waiting for the fireworks to begin. And when they start just admiring how mesmerized he looks at all the bright colours that light up the sky 🎆

He, however, is too hyper focused and is just nodding in agreement to your words

And once he puts down his clipboard to grab something off a nearby shelf

He finally registers what you're saying

He glances over to you, asking you to repeat yourself

Under the impression he misheard you, you looks at you quizzically

But once you do and he realizes he didn't, his brow furrows into an expression of confusion

Upon him directing his puzzled stare towards you, you crack up a little, before doubling over in laughter

Whenever you make them you earn a small yet bemused sigh and faint smile

He's been around a while, so he isn't at all surprised, as he's seem beings with wings before

but he also doesn't pay much attention to it either

He doesn't care enough to look into it

He still wants you to stay as far away from him as possible when you first meet just like everyone else

But when he comes around, he doesn't mind your presence much anymore

He sometimes will stare at your wings

The winged beings he's met prior weren't mortal, so what are you?

Sometimes you catch his quizzical glances, and his facial expression seems like he's scrutinizing you

But he denies it if you call him out

Eventually he comes to find comfort in your wings

Especially when he's having an episode and your wrap them around him

They're soft and warm, so he finds some solace

It was cold outside as he stood on the balcony, legs dangling over the railing. The wind nipped at his skin but he cared not for the chill it brought with it. Alongside him, sat his companion, whom he watched from his periphery.

Amber eyes shifted back to the landscape quickly as they turned their head in his direction. He'd been caught again, but he couldn't help but wonder what they were. Upon their first meeting, he paid no mind, however, as they showed up more and more he couldn't help but wonder how they'd gotten their wings. He could tell they were no adeptus, but no mortals he'd ever seen during his expansive lifetime had been adorned with wings.

He heard them hum, a sign that they were thinking of what to say and as they opened their mouth, he felt their feathers on his skin. Their wing was extended outwards towards him and it wrapped around him in a loose embrace as they began to move closer.

"Lost in your head again? Is everything alright?" Their voice was soft, as if not to disturb the tranquility around them.

He shook his head. "My thoughts are of no concern of yours."

They laughed softly, "Is that so?" They began to remove their wing from around him, when he softly grabbed their feathers. Gaze becoming one of surprise, they moved it back to its original position.

He said nothing but refused to make eye contact and it was then that they knew what he was thinking. With an amused sigh they leaned into him, as the first flakes of winter began to fall.
